@baremaras well said. I strongly agree with the kape comparison. I think he just needed to get used to the step up in comp. Obviously, he was brought in to lose against mokaev and Zhalgas is actually quite good (if we don’t count ufc robberies he would’ve been 3-2 coming into that fight). This is probably controversial to a lot of people, but rewatching that fight I really don’t think it was as bad a robbery as everyone was saying. That first round was super close. Johnson actually did a lot better than I thought but just when he started to let his hands go, there would be an eye poke or nut shot that would halt his momentum. I really didn’t like his lack of output, especially since that’s one of his best qualities, so I’m not really sure what the issue was there. I think his output should look totally fine here because he’s a much better striker than flick. Flicks ground game is actually pretty impressive, but after watching the royval fight I’m not really that worried should the fight go down there. Also on tape, I noticed a lot of flicks losses come from him getting reversed and getting his head smashed in.

I am sensing a real opportunity with this card and many possible underdog bets. I need to do tape study and research even though our high IQ combined should not even require that... but why not make it as secure as Fort Knox.

Likely underdogs who I think really have a shot of winning imo are Alhassan, Eubanks, Dulgarian, Puna. I am of course assuming they will be underdogs. 

As you all mentioned I really think Inner G has a good chance if he has learned anything at all and really also like Vieira and Imavov.

Reibecki, Javed, Umar, Nascimento are pretty much locks imo. 

Be keen to hear your thoughts.

everything I'm going to say here is without having refreshed tape viewing and purely off of instinct alone

I think Imavov might genuinely be one of the most talented strikers at 185, in terms of pure skill/talent I have him up there with Israel, Whittaker and Edmen but it's everything else that's making this matchup a bit tricky. how much does Gastelum have left in the tank? will he wrestle with Imavov? will Imavov's cardio hold up for 5 rounds? will Imavov's submission game translate into this fight at all?

I think Alhassan vs Ribeiro and Kopylov vs Soriano are matchups that warrant prop betting instead of playing the money line. both fights are waay too 50/50 to be able to take a concrete stance on any of the fighters. Kopylov was a ******* beast outside of the ufc but his run in the UFC so far has been super underwhelming and there's a huge possibility the di Chirico ko win was more di Chirico being waay over the hill and not Kopylov finally finding his groove. 

personally I will not be playing the eubanks fight because WMMA truly scares me, genuinely can not trust wmma fighters of this caliber to perform up to par

I'll most likely be watching tape on Imavov/Gastelum, Johnson/Flick and maybe do a breakdown on Umar and Javid because they're ridiculously promising prospects during the weekend
