Cannonier has more physical gifts than Sean but Sean is a grafter, could steal it in the later rounds... Maybe and may be pumped after that terrible loss

It also likely puts a damper on the end of a round for Guram from the judges perspective, which is obviously worth mentioning because this fight was ruled a split.

14. Kicking the head of a grounded opponent. A downed opponent is any fighter who has more than just the soles of their feet on the ground. If a fighter is caught in a crouched position where the ring ropes or the fence is the only thing keeping the fighter from the ground the fighter will be considered a downed opponent. A fighter can be kicked to the body when they are on the ground.

Tsarukyan vs. Ismagulov
Predictions: 2 of 2 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points | Tied for 4019th
Arman has proved himself against Islam he took Islam down if he can do that he will surely take damir down right
IMO arman beat gamrot arman has proved himself
damir he hasn't fought fighters like islam or gamrot
damir is good but with armans wrestling ability i think he will be able to dictate this fight
Im going with Arman by decision to will all 3 rounds...But there is no room for error he must wrestle and get take downs not standup with damir

Predictions: 5 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 275 Points | Tied for 3731st
Sean Strickland, DEC
It's a 5 rounder. Although Cannonier has finished 79% by KO, I think the younger and more experienced Strickland will dance around in the 1st round to make Cannonier's muscles fatigue and take it by decision to
Albazi vs. Costa
Amir Albazi, SUB, R2
The highest percentage get my vote here, Albazi by submission (67%). Costa does have a 33% KO record, but unlikely to get a KO before Albazi takes Costa to the ground.
Caceres vs. Erosa
Julian Erosa, DEC
Purely on ranking (#16), Erosa by decision.
Vlismas vs. McKenna
Cheyanne Vlismas, DEC
Vlismas is way hotter, so she wins the beauty stakes. Vlismas is older, but McKenna has the same experience, as well as all other stats of hight, reach, ranking and betting odds are close /similar. Vlismas has a high clip rate of 5.68 significant strikes per minute, so will win by decision.
Matthews vs. Semelsberger
Matt Semelsberger, TKO, R1
This is a coin flip, don't get the names mixed up here, Jake Matthews is a huge favourite here (won only 36% by KO and 50% by decision), as Matthew Semelsberger (won 51% by KO) is the $3.40 dog. Stay away, or bet small on the dog for KO.
Nurmagomedov vs. Kakhramonov
Said Nurmagomedov, DEC
All stats are very similar, except ranking and significant strikes per minute with Nurmagomedov #13 & 4.15ss. There's a significant chance it'll go to a decision, so Nurmagomedov by decision.
Maheshate vs. García
Maheshate, TKO, R3
Maheshate has a 14cm height advantage and 41% KO record and 5.68 significant strikes per minute, so will grind Garcia down for TKO in the 3rd round or by decision.
Dvořák vs. Kape
Manel Kape, TKO, R2
Kape has won 73% of his fights by KO, but even though Dvorak looks like can tare off your head and throw it 10km 69% of his wins are by decision, so I feel Kape's 4.69 significant strike rate per minute will take it's toll on Dvorak by round 2.
Morozov vs. Newson
Sergey Morozov, DEC
Morozov lost 4 fights by rear naked choke, but will win if he's able to keep it standing... Newson won many of his early career wins by submission, but hasn't won with his ground for several years, so the fight hinges on Newson's coaches picking up Morozov's weakness and implementing a Takedown strategy, rather than banging it out. Morozov has a slightly higher significant strike rate per minute, and a significantly higher Takedown rate, so I feel Morozov has learnt how to defend rear naked chokes by now and will take the win by split decision...

The same is also true for the fact that, TECHNICALLY, Damir was barely a downed opponent when the strike makes contact. His knees are off of the mat, allbeit barely, with his right hand still touching the ground. Personally, I think Damirs knees are close enough to the mat that, with the one hand down, he's probably still a grounded opponent as far as most refs are concerned. However, the way the rule is written, there is technically an argument to be made there.
Again, I only bring this up to say that this clearly unintentional, illegal/not illegal knee arguably effected the result of this fight. Despite being stood up, one judge gave Guram round 3.While there was only 8 seconds left on the clock, I think its fair to say that those 8 seconds on top, potentially raining down damage, could have swung the 3rd (and thus the fight) in Guram's favor for one of the other two judges.
EDIT: spelling.

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 490 Points | Tied for 2029th
What was really egregrious is that he let 14 seconds or something run on the time before stopping it, something Herb does a lot because he'll stop a fight and then only belatedly telling the cageside functionaries to halt the time as opposed to yelling 'time!' and doing the appropriate hand gestures.
But that's Dean in a nutshell, frequently hesitant and with very unclear communication to fighters and other officials. Fighters don't know when he's stopped the action, officials don't know either.

Prediction Comments
Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 525 Points | Tied for 1561st
Jared Cannonier, TKO, R3
Massive ground and pound coming up. Strickland is way too stiff with his striking and it's gonna cost him. I think he's very good but swaying away from his game plan in a major fight vs Alex last time was probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Tsarukyan vs. Ismagulov
Arman Tsarukyan, DEC
Arman wins a decision but don't be surprised if Damir wins or finishes him.
Albazi vs. Costa
Amir Albazi, SUB, R1
Costa is very good but this is a horrible debut matchup for him. He's getting subbed.
Caceres vs. Erosa
Alex Caceres, SUB, R2
Caceres takes his back and subs him. Erosa has so much skill but can't be trusted. Alex has always been underrated.
Brundage vs. Oleksiejczuk
Michał Oleksiejczuk, TKO, R1
Brundage is a beast but this is way too much of a step up for him right now and he's not gonna be able to get a takedown and he will get knocked out.
Vlismas vs. McKenna
Cheyanne Vlismas, DEC
Vlismas stuffs takedowns and pieces McKenna up for 3 rounds. McKenna isn't UFC caliber yet.
Matthews vs. Semelsberger
Jake Matthews, DEC
Matthews should win but this will go the distance unless Semmy gets him out of there. Good luck trying to finish Semelsberger but we've seen Matthews hurt very badly before. Matthews is more skilled no question.
Nurmagomedov vs. Kakhramonov
Saidyokub Kakhramonov, DEC
Kakhramonov is better everywhere, in my opinion. Nurmagomedov is more of a striker and he will get taken down whenever.
Maheshate vs. García
Maheshate, TKO, R3
Garcia is gonna wrestle, get tired, get knocked out. I can see it coming.
Battle vs. Fakhretdinov
Rinat Fakhretdinov, DEC
Rinat will just wrestle him for 3 rounds but don't be surprised if he gasses and Bryan finishes him. Bryan coming in on short notice sways me in the opposite direction.
Dvořák vs. Kape
David Dvořák, DEC
I can't pick Kape. He's good when he actually throws but he's way too low output and that's not gonna work against guys higher up in the division. David is very good as well and I expected him to upset Kape here.
Morozov vs. Newson
Sergey Morozov, DEC
Morozov wins a hard fought decision. Newson has power and just ok wrestling. I don't think he's that good and Morozov should win but it seems like Sergey has a chin problem...
