Fernand posted to Instagram that lazy king has still not recieved a ufc contract. I don’t think he will get signed sadly

UFC really passing on talents like Lazy King and Baki because of Ali Abdelaziz is so dumb.

Maybe he’s asking for more money than Dana wants to pay. This is always the problem when fighter is famous already.

No it’s because of Ali. Ever since him and Fernand had that dispute over slim, there have been 0 mma factory fighters signed

Also can now officially confirm morgan charriere has been signed by the ufc & debuting on ufc paris. My guess is he’s fighting paul hughes

That's also the 2nd guy to get signed after beating Diego Silva, so they must think really highly of him. Edit: 3rd guy, Dan Argueta got signed right away too

I don’t think that has anything to do with Diego silva, just a matter of circumstance

Argueta fought him for the belt, got signed short notice 
Gaufarov fought him for the belt, got signed short notice 
Charriere beats him and gets signed because of ufc paris 

Also helps that the latter two were on TUF and dwcs respectively, so they were already a few wins from the ufc regardless

Also per Danny Rube, Shavkats manager, it looks like Gastelum asked for the fight to be rescheduled for UFC 295, however they've asked the UFC to fight either Usman or Wonderboy on the September 16th card or UFC 294, since they don't want to wait that long.

And the ufc has now officially announced morgan charriere’s signing to the promotion. I imagine we find out who is opponent is very soon

I think it's also because of Fernad that lazy king is not signed yet . Dude is slimy and sketchy based on what we've heard from trabelsi and ngannou.

Yes that is the reason. Him and Ali had beef over slim trabelsi. Fernand blocked him from a ufc contract last year because slim wanted to be represented by Ali instead of him for management. Then, he blocked slim from signing to Bellator (and a 6 figure contract)  just to be even more petty

Since this beef, no mma factory fighters have been signed to the ufc & it looks like all French except mma factory guys are being signed. Part of it is Fernand, but another part makes me think ali told the ufc to not deal with any more guys under fernands management

Yep, Ali is 100% petty enough to hold a grudge and doesn't give much of a **** about the fighters who end up as collateral damage

He even went as far as to create fake news articles about fernands “criminal past”. I really hate Ali. He’s letting his pettiness prevent good fighters from signing to the ufc

The sale cannot go through immediately and quickly. Bellator has only two invets scheduled on August 11 and I don’t remember the date in September. The tournament on the 11th will obviously already take place
