Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

hoping usman goes to ufc. cant imagine his dagestani bros havent tried to get him to go before.

I think he’s in bellator because islam is champ; doesn’t want to risk having to fight him

I would love to see Patchy Mix and Stots in the UFC. Pettis returning would also be a great addition and make the bantamweight division even more crazy. It would also be interesting to see Eblen try his hand at the best especially since he's in his prime right now. I am a little less interested in AJ McKee bc he lost to Pitbull, but he would still be a great addition. Usman being in the UFC would be chaos bc of Islam. Yaroslav Amosov would also be a good addition, but I'm not sure if he would be able to beat Leon, Usman, or Shavkat. Nemkov would be a great benefit for the UFC since their LHW belt is literally cursed. All the other top Bellator fighters would be fun to have and probably be able to get a couple of top 5 wins, but I don't see any other dude other than the ones I specifically mentioned ever win a title in the UFC 

I think the PFL-Bellator merger is actually going to be worse for both promotions. PFl is bleeding money and acquiring Bellator won't help them solve that issue, it would probably make it worse. And it's not going to help them acquire more top talents.

@jodra I agree. I hate how pfl is all about gimmicks too, would hate to see quality fighters get sucked into their stupid gimmicks

I don't get it. You got a promotion that is structured similarly to the UFC, but they still do tournaments bc they don't have too many fighters and then you got a promotion that does a lot of gimmicky things. Both companies don't make a crazy profit, and a majority of the fighters for both promotions rather be in the UFC but decide to go cause they are offered more money, are not good enough for the UFC/got cut, or decided that they can have more success leading to more money than the UFC will ever pay them

Strickland just tweeted saying he is “one step closer” to the izzy fight. Guess they realized they couldn’t get anyone else

Well they both got embarrassingly kod by people they should have beat perfect matchup for me, I got Dober as probably 80% of Tapo will.

yeah but Glenn looked like **** man, Dober and frevola atleast looked competitive until the finish 😭. And if not the case Dober went from fighting around the top 15-20 to fighting a guy I'd rank in the 40s. But I'm happy Dober gets a good bounce back at least

Maybe but that can be the case for a lot of other fighters they could've booked Dober with. Idk maybe it'll end up being a good fight

Yeah I don’t really get the matchmaking either

I wish ufc would just buyout pfl & bellator that way they can get the best fighters from each roster and wont have such watered down cards every week.

They aren't buying out anyone as long as they still have that lawsuit going on. It's bad enough they were accused of having a monopoly on the mma world after the purchase of WEC/ Strikeforce/Pride.

Besides, they have MVP most likely now which is fun. Also, competition is good for mma as well as the fans. If anything One could benefit from acquiring some of the Bellator roster.

I believe that the Bellator guys will have the option to opt out of the new contract if they don’t want to fight. Possible ufc gets a lot of guys from the buyout who didn’t want to merge 

I'm sure a few will follow suit to PFL but I wouldn't be mad to see the roster split with some going to One or UFC. Probably a few head over to Rizin.
