Tatsuro taira gets his first ranked opponent october 14th. Facing David dvorak. That Oct 14th card is crazy stacked for an apex card. Cant wait to see what else they add. Love the activity from taira too; very easy fight to get ranked

Sumudareji tweeted out the ufc is planning to go to Shanghai end of the year. If weili beats lemos, her vs xiaonan would be a huge fight in China. Really hope that works out

So when it’s inevitably announced that PFL has purchased Bellator what do you guys think is the most likely scenario?

1. They run Bellator as a separate company ala UFC/WEC and pick and choose fighters that come over to PFL for tournaments.

2. They shut it down and poach the top 5-10 fighters or so from each division and release the rest.

I think they will merge rosters, drop all the jobbers/cannon fodder, and form a new promotion with pfl talent and the better Bellator fighters. I really hope they scrap the tournament and just do it Bellator Grand Prix style. That tourney gimmick has to go

Update on Samandar murodov

His manager posted a photo with Samandar and put the caption “august, Abu Dhabi”. The only august shows in Abu Dhabi are uae warriors; would be fitting for Samandar to be on it. He made it seem like he was gonna get a ufc contract but I guess that fell through. Either way, if he is fighting at uaew and wins, gotta imagine ufc is next

Ronnie Lawrence has announced he will be stepping away from mma for the foreseeable future. Said he has had 15-20 staph infections in the last two years and needs to take time off to get healthy, since he doesn’t know how it keeps happening.

That’s really brutal. Hopefully he can figure out what the root of the problem is

Sounds like MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), really hard to treat because our over-use of antibiotics has selected for strains that resist almost everything we've got. Its a growing problem worldwide

Victor Hugo silva will be on dwcs. Looks like your average astra fight team guy; lots of finishes and an impressive record, but it’s all padded. Silva will be on October 3rd episode
