Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

Damn Caceres is getting probably the worst stylistic matchup for him. The only path to victory is a sub. Also, poor Gafurov he's actually a decent prospect, but he got his first fight on like a week's notice and now facing imo a top 10 bantamweight

Aldana vs tate ITW for sept 16th. Really bad fight. Really don’t like how they’re putting so many women’s fights on that card. That’s 5 now

We need a Manuel Torres fight on this card Dober would be crazy but i don't think they would book this one yet.

I'd book Torres vs a vet like Jim Miller or Guida, chance for a highlight KO but also a test against UFC-level grappling

Arf, Barboza is fighting Yusuff, October 14. and Chikadze is fighting Cacerès on August 26... 

Fun fights, but I kind of wanted to see Barboza face Cacerès in a wild unpredictable mess... And Chikadze vs Yusuff was solid too.

Top prospect Losene Keita said in an interview with sherdog he has been in contact with the ufc this year. He said he was offered to fight fares ziam at ufc paris last year, but it fell through. He said he’s mainly stayed in oktagon for money but I imagine it’s gonna be hard tj deny him a ufc contract after this one

Pretty crazy that even a Central European regional show like Oktagon is offering him more money than the UFC

According to Todd atkins, the big announcment coming from pfl is going to be announcing the merger of Bellator/pfl. They are also moving to a new distribution platform 

I think that PFL needs to move tbh. UFC is already on ESPN, and Showtime is the worst broadcast for fighting ever

Jesse butler is out next week. Shocker considering he was badly slept 2 months ago. He wouldn’t have been medically cleared to fight 

Why does the UFC book fights knowing there's a high chance that a dude won't pass their medicals? I don't get it

Saw that too, would definitely be an interesting move, would imo force the UFC to be more active in new exciting roster signings, where PFL, Bellator, ONE and as stated by Keita, Oktagon are offering more lucrative contracts. Because otherwise I think if the trend continues, that the UFC lowballs exciting free agents and the merged PFL/Bellator keeps on improving the roster, i think we get to a stage in 3-5 years, where we can definitely say some divisions are more over exciting there.

Also one thing on the Keita contract, lets say he was offered 12/12 by the UFC. When he fights at Oktagon he always brings like 250 fans to the venue (his fanclub and also just general pull), if we say that's a 50$ ticket each. That's 12500$ just in ticket sales for Oktagon, so of course they offer him good money.

I don’t know if they’ll have to actually be more aggressive with free agents. I’m sure a lot of bellators top fighters will opt out of their contracts and go to ufc or at least try their hand
