I find people on these forums funny. They rewatch fights and break down the techniques and everything, break it down on here, and then the fight happens and they are wrong 45% - 50% of the time.

@Erison Can't believe you picked Gore. Remember this before you try to argue with me in 6 months.

Damn, Gore has a 3-2 (or 4-2) record now. Dudes like Zarukh Adashev, came to the UFC WAY too soon

Baldric probably stopped calling people with the wrong pick ******s whenever he got a pick right because of how butthurt a lot of people were over it lol

@danrom exactly, you can break the fight down however you want.
Than Strickland stands infront of Pereira without doing anything.

For the record - I did not be on Brundage, I bet against Gore. And less that I was ready to cause somehow, people (outside Tapology afaik) I trust picked Gore as well. The method sucks betting wise, but nice finish.

It's strange isn't it? Bottom line is that this is the most unpredictable sport in the world with the most corrupt judging and questionable reffing as well.
There is no such thing as a sure thing or a sure bet, so many factors including outside stuff like weight cuts, travel time etc make a difference too.
I hate it when people come on here and have a go at someone for making a wrong pick. Who in this forum has never made a bad pick or made a stupid call?
This is one of the best places to hang out and talk MMA but I wish people on here weren't so negative about the others. No one here is a picking genius (except maybe Dana's Burner and I've noticed Mothswords also has some really good picks) and everyone makes stupid picks so I wish everyone would just chill and enjoy what we have.

I really don't see anything wrong with that though. People are competitive and love the sport. So if someone wants to take their predictions that seriously, that's their choice.

@Rusty I have no problem with people making bad picks. I have a problem with people who make bad picks who can't admit they made bad picks.

I think a lot of people are under the impression because it’s fighting they have more control over who wins and can bet money if they watch enough tape
It’s not
Injuries happen, personal stuff happens, and weaknesses you didn’t notice in the past get revealed when you drop hundreds of dollars on that guy to win. Gambling is 50/50 no matter the sport

Keep in mind a ton of people here are probably pretty young and on some stimulants looking at a very violent sport. Bound to be some testosterone fuelled banter.

Honestly I'm mostly shocked which fights people get weirdly emotionally invested in, to the point of being hostile about it. Last card it was ******* Brad Tavares getting people riled up. I LOVE fighting, but can't imagine feeling anything for Brad Tavares performances. I'm pretty sure his own family TiVos his fights and promises to watch them "eventually".

Dude I picked Roberson....
like I was ******** as Baldric for that pick, but Brundage bounced me back.
(Hating on Baldric is common ground even if he's not here.)

My family members know nothing of this sport and mostly view it as pretty barbaric. If they saw one of these cringey promos they would disown me.
