Also they’re similar weights so bader not fighting in his natural class won’t be that much of a disadvantage

I like your argument Ayylma Bader is also undefeated..at heavy.
Val aint koing **** so I will switch to bader by whatever his sloppy haymakers are classified as.
He has stupid power just ****** actual technique and defense.

My only worry is his fight iq is **** but he’s also been pretty good in bellator. His two losses aren’t really from fight iq (which is how he’s lost all his ufc fights) but more just losing to the better fighter. I don’t think he would have beaten Corey anderson but if they fought again I don’t think he would have been ko’ed as quick (or ko’ed at all, who knows). The nemkov loss was also just him losing to the better fighter; I feel like nemkov would have a shot at being lhw champ in the ufc

I feel ya on nemkov I've always considered corey to be the cable tv version of ryan.
But I have been wrong in the past..I actually picked Bader to beat Jones :>.
Of course the win is soiled by the fact we all know Jones was cheating but it was brutal.

Lol ya that was a beating; can’t blame Bader too much as Jones is one of the best of all time (roids aside)

It's Bellator so I basically just unthinkingly picked all the favourites apart from Barzola.

Obscene New Predictions

Predictions: 5 of 8 Winners, 1 Perfect, 275 Points   |   Tied for 954th

Rosta vs. Johnson
I select Dalton Rosta at -800. He has a poignant oshi-dashi and a zippy ground and pound and also a lame suplex. Rosta could charge the dissentient. Cavalo dado não se olha os dentes!

Bader vs. Moldavsky
I lean towards Valentin Moldavsky at -220. He has a militant palm block and a decent clinch. Moldavsky will likely grapple the cycle.

Awad vs. Gonzalez
I believe in Chris Gonzalez at -225. He has a militant level change. Gonzalez will handle the foe.

Parrish vs. Cauley
I feel disposed to Sullivan Cauley at -175. He has a voluptuous butterfly sweep. Cauley might weaken the natural order.

Henderson vs. Mamedov
I elect Islam Mamedov at -425. He has a maladapted lumberjack sweep. Mamedov will kiss the underdog.

Homasi vs. Willis
I am all over Jaleel Willis at -225. He has a nerdy hiza guruma and a brilliant gogoplata. Willis won't knuckle the crowd noise. It's a lock!

Mikhailov vs. Shutt
I believe in Nikita Mikhailov at -1000. He has a brackish hammerfist. Mikhailov might ravage the opposing forces. It's a lock!

Brennan vs. Lugo
I am sniffing Lucas Brennan at -1100. He has a wretched diet. Brennan is about to realign the Octagon.

Bader hasn't faced any HW with decent wrestling though (and no, King Mo doesn't count as a real HW), it'll be interesting how things shake out there.

Sure Ryan is undefeated at HW but he took part in one of the weakest tournaments Bellator has put on since they brought them back. Sonnen and Rampage were even part of it ffs, as was Roy Nelson.

So far Moldavsky's only loss was a close one against a roided out Aliakbari who outweighed him by 30+ lbs. He's boring, but he's quite good everywhere imo.

Yeah but Bader is still a good fighter. And we really don’t know moldavskys level because look how bad his competition is; at least bader has beaten quality opponents this dudes best win is 38 year old Tim Johnson

Imagine if ryan bader beat Jon Jones, that timeline would be wild. Maybe Jon would go straight off the rails and become like heisenberg. Shogun would've probably butchered Ryan though

Risky fights

Predictions: 5 of 9 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 880th

I think there are a lot of risky fights on this.

Brennan could lose on the feet, I feel too many people are writing off Ben Parrish and the fight will be closer than people think, Chris Gonzalez is not as good as he should be and Awad has a chance on the feet, I think Willis will win but Homasi is a KO threat in R1, Questions about Caldwells gas tank and heart, I am still not 100% convinced about Rosta's gas tank though everyone here has swayed me on this fight, and Corrales could catch Lee.

All pretty risky to bet as with all Bellator cards.

The fights I am somewhat confident on are Bader winning, I think his wrestling will be better than Moldavski and he will be faster and stronger. I think a dog price on him is real value.

Mikhailov as a lock, Mamodove reasonably confident and Aiden Lee reasonably confident.

The others are either toss ups or very risky in my view
