Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 880th

Bader vs. Moldavsky
Ryan Bader, DEC
Backing the older more experienced fighter. Bader has been in the cage with some high level competition. Trust him to grind out a decision by using his wrestling or maybe a TKO if Moldavsky gasses out during the fight.

Henderson vs. Mamedov
Islam Mamedov, TKO, R2
Not much to say about this fight. Henderson has some decent striking. Not much forward pressure, fights in the centre, high guard and is more of a counter striker. Some good leg kicks to slow his opponents down. Doesn't always use his kicks efficiently though. Going to back the younger fighter here-Islam throws more volume, grapples like a bear and can end fights so I trust him to get the W here.

Corrales vs. Lee
Aiden Lee, DEC
Good defense by Henry. Has a proper high guard and maintains distance with his movement. Tends to lean in on strikes and leaves himself open to counter knees/upper-cuts/jabs. Takedown defense of Henry is a bit concerning but may not factor in against Lee who seldom shoots for the takedown. Lee is just going to be picking him apart here. Dude attacks the head, body and legs with some high volume strikes from range. Easy DEC W for Lee.

Homasi vs. Willis
Jaleel Willis, DEC
Don't like how Willis almost always leaves it to the judges. Doesn't throw much and no SUB attempts. No effective G&P either. Knees + fast hands + grappling + leg kicks from Homasi might test him here. Homasi has more tools to end this fight. KO power and the SUB attempts are there. Just not enough to put Willis away. The Realest to get the W by DEC

Caldwell vs. Barzola
Enrique Barzola, TKO, R2
Caldwell is on a 2 fight losing streak and I think matters might get worse here. His cardio is a concern for me. Really impressed by his ability to finish and his aggressive style. Good movement by Barzola, don't like that he doesn't keep a high guard but I think he'll be able to avoid taking damage and slip from being controlled against the cage.He does tend to backup a lot which leaves him open to being caught by the kicks and takedown attempts. I trust him to keep pressuring forward to get a takedown-Caldwell doesn't do well on the ground, especially on his back. A SUB or TKO by G&P might open up for Barzola here.

Awad vs. Gonzalez
Chris Gonzalez, DEC
I think age could definitely be a factor in this matchup. Good striking from both fighters but I think Gonzalez throws more volume. Fast and heacy hands from Awad which could find the KO but I think the wrestling, volume, SUB attempts and G&P from Gonzalez may prove to be a bit too much for the Assassin. Backing Gonzalez to grind out a decision.

Leans

Predictions: 5 of 9 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 880th

Not going to make many official picks for this card because there is too much variance. And only betting a few spots cross parlayed with the UFC card.

Leans -
1. Moldavsky - Bader hasn't fought at HW for a while right? And his durability is a big big question now.
2. Mamedov - Going to grind out Hendo for 3 rounds in a boring fight
3. Lee - Will be too big for Henry and will out strike him at range.
4. Willis - Homasi could blitz and clip him. Not confident here.
5. Caldwell - Barzola is good and on the juice. But if Caldwell is motivated he could win this.
6. Awaad - I think Awaad could win this. Main 2 factors against him is his age and that he is at Fortis MMA
7. Johnson - Rosta could have serious gas tank issues out of R1 and Johnson is durable. Not at all confident      in either fighter in this fight but at the huge favourite odds Rosta is at I would advice everyone, do not bet!
8.  Mikhailov -  This is a lock and actually worth the huge odds. I have parlayed him
9. Brennan - Will win but those odds are a joke
10. Cauley - I think Cauley has good wrestling (I think he was an Arizona state wrestler) and good kick boxing. But I see a lot of people under estimating Parrish because of his physique. I'd be careful. He is not as bad as he looks. Could be an upset in the making.

Only making a few definite picks, namely Moldavsky, Mamedov, Brennan, Mikhailov and Lee.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 225th

Bader vs. Moldavsky
Ryan Bader, TKO, R2
My gut is saying Moldavsky is just gonna dominate him and I'll look like an idiot, but I have a hard time seeing Bader getting outwrestled. Not to mention his two biggest issues at HW are his chin, which has now been cracked in 2 out of his last 3 fights and his size disadvantage which is not nearly as relevant against Moldavsky who is a small Heavyweight.

Henderson vs. Mamedov
Islam Mamedov, DEC
Sadly, Benson is just past it. Should be a walk in the park win.

Homasi vs. Willis
Sabah Homasi, TKO, R2
Got that gut feeling Sabah puts him out. Haven't been all that impressed with Willis's striking, and don't know if the wrestling will be there all fight.

Caldwell vs. Barzola
Darrion Caldwell, DEC
Boring but dominant is my prediction, surprised Barzola is the favorite.

Rosta vs. Johnson
Dalton Rosta, TKO, R2
Slaughter fest

Brennan vs. Lugo
Lucas Brennan, SUB, R1
Slaughter fest #2

Parrish vs. Cauley
Sullivan Cauley, DEC
If he wins this, proves his last fight wasn't a fluke win.

You are probably right. I am just fading gas tanks but he is surely on the gear and nuclear sauce and will probably be fine. If he does gas though he is in trouble and there is no way in hell I am betting those odds on a fighter I don't have a lot of faith in.

Duane has only beaten guys with negative records since his first two pro fights though. Not exactly the guy to expose a prospect, plus he's coming in on short notice.

Bellator does have a tendency to have -1000 favorites upset. Mahmoud sebie did it recently and Christian edwards was like -1000 against tuna right. Isaiah Hokit id another that comes to mind

There’s more too I just don’t know them off the top of my head. Basically, Bellator has a tendency to have massive upsets happen more often than usual

weber almeida v johnny soto, henry corales v johnny campbell. both were like -700 on the same card lmao.

and valerie loreda was -600 and lost to hannah guy aswell.

so youre right upsets are more common in bellator. probably because the favorite has undeserved hyped and everyone blindly parlays big favorites on bellator. also the big favorites are usually not that experienced like they will have less than 10 fights
