If those fights don’t happen I wonder if that’s a ufc record for most fights cancelled in a day. I can’t remember seeing more fights not happen except for Strickland vs hall

^ he’s not good but he’s a lot better then his record would indicate. He shouldn’t be in the ufc but that’s mostly because he barely has any fights on his record but I don’t think he’s a terrible fighter in terms of skill

He carries an atrocious 4 - 3 record with zero notable wins on his resume. His kickboxing record is equally as ******, consisting of back alley hobgoblins he found sniffing cat piss in sewer trenches, or scurvy ridden troglodyte homunculuses with t-rex arms. His fighting style is sloppy and one dimensional, using his oh-so grandiose knowledge in his kickboxing experience to unleash an arsenal of two ******* moves: leg kicks and hooks wider than his mum handing out a two-for-one at the local 7/11, and much like his mum, also ends up with him getting fisted on more than one occasion. Adashev is so bad, he could win a contract on the contender series.

Tbf idk how he got in the ufc in the first place plus they thought it would be a good idea to give him two top 15 flyweights lol. It’s like they brought him in just to lose fights

Cause they needed some can on short notice to take a shot for Tyson Nam. Not a lot of flyweights in the world so they took whoever came knocking first. Adashev is here out of sheer luck and sticks out like a clansman in a ghetto, he’ll be eaten alive and spat out in this needle-thin division soon enough. Adashev deserves to be in the UFC less than Sasha Palatnikov, cause at least Sasha is a banger to watch.

Right? Kind of ridiculous. Barcelos probably didn’t wanna fight a debutant after Henry got covid the first time. Feel bad for him, dudes gonna turn into a massive what-if at the rate all his fights keep getting cancelled. It sucks cuz he’s one of the best unranked BWs too

I don't know how reliable your Twitter source is but neither UFC.com or ESPN.com are very good at updating the fight cards until the week they're happening. They're usually a little better for PPVs. I keep my own files for shots and giggles and they've been especially bad the last couple of years.

Bigmarcel is pretty much the Adrian wojnarski of mma, he’s the leading insider. I’ve yet to see him incorrectly post info but yeah ufc and espn are terrible at updating the page. The only reason I knew something was wrong in the first place because Rodrigues vs adashev was taken out of the lineup

Nothing more exciting than spending 3-4 hours researching a fight to then find out it's cancelled but no one bothered to inform the general public.
Hasn't happened to me this card but I've probably lost hours in the triple digits to fight cancellations last 2 years.

I don’t think he is the ****iest fighter, but then again I don’t think I would ever say that about any fighter. He has a win in the UFC and respect to him for taking that fight and keeping Nam on that card. That being said it was a pretty cool knock out.

@AyyLmaonnaise... the craziest card for UFC cancellations right here... I remember this one perfectly.  Overeem vs Sakai back in September 2020.  8 cancellations either the day before or the day of which left only 7 fights on the whole card.  It was also a wonderful card to bet on especially the Muniz vs Fabinski fight which was a huge mismatch.  Muniz was the underdog in that one.
