Then I went back to the Casey Jones fight and low and behold its the same exact thing. He opened that fight throwing the same combo 2-3 times and finished him with a straight left instead of a hook.
I haven't seen anything overly impressive yet. In the David Rivera fight he was easily held down the entire first round after jumping a gilly (does not instill confidence in me that he wants to win rounds)
Guido sucks and Mana should win but theres no way hes touching any of my parlays. If Guido can defend a leg kick and a left hook I think this will be much closer than people think.

Some stuff I'm considering
Over 1.5 in mana fight if it gets a better price, was -115 now +105, looking for +120ish
Jj/Vanessa dngtd +200ish
Maybe a Jacoby + over 2.5 Ricky/Brady parlay Both are like -180
Round 4 starts in main event -150
Maybe alvey or sabitini ML, if they widen.
But yeah, idrk.

Look up Emily Whitmire
There is a photo/video of her driving with Dana White in a car at night
She got a Modelo commercial (despite being a virtual unknown, and not even close to a special or good FIGHTER)
She has lost every fight including her fights on TUF all by finish (Modelooooooooooooo)

Bryan Battle, DEC
Urbina had a great career outside of the UFC, his only loss was to Sean Brady (one of the top prospects at 170 pounds), but I think he's clearly out of his weight class fighting at 185 pounds. Battle at TUF was simply impressive, in his debut he managed to clearly beat Lachinov who was a Bellator veteran with a great chance of reaching the final of the tournament. In the second fight he achieved an upset victory over Andre Petrovski by submission (against a fighter who was supposed to have the upper hand in grappling). I think Battle will continue to show his progress in the TUF final.
Turcios vs. Hiestand
Brady Hiestand, DEC
Despite not facing much opposition before TUF, Heistand managed to beat the two most experienced fighters within the season: Joshua Rettinghouse was a fighter with a more established career, as well as coming from the same city as Heistand (which is why who ever trained together) Brady managed to beat him convincingly, in the same way he managed to defeat Vince Murdock, an experienced powerful striker with a good fighting background for TKO (although it should be noted that Murdock was injured during the fight). Turcios is a fighter with an exciting style who managed to defeat David Argueta (Pick # 1 of Team Ortega), but I think that precisely the fact that Turcios goes out to exchange blows and try investments in scrambling can be advantages for a Brady Heistand who He has a good wrestling base (with the help of his sparring partner: Michael Chiesa) and because of the fact that he is more attached to his fight plan.

Guido Cannetti, DEC
First I will write everything subjective regarding my pick:
As a Latin American it is impossible for my root againt Cannetti: although Cannetti talk too much in TUF Latin America Season 1, used the historical rivalry of Chile vs. Argentina to sell his fight against Diego Rivas in Santiago and accused Marlon Vera of not being humble. People don't understand that Argentines see this as soccer: you get into the opponent's mind before the game, you play intensely during the game and in the end everyone shakes hands like gentlemen and what happened stays on the field.
When Cody Garbrandt was going to fight Henry Briones Team Alpha Male called Cannetti to help them train for UFC 189, from that moment TAM became the second home of the Ninja and the results were immediate: upset victory over Hugo Viana in Brazil. Cannetti will not have a great record, but he is one of the pioneers of MMA in Argentina and his gym Our Town MMA has provided a different alternative to many young people in Buenos Aires at risk situation.
Now I start with the objective part of the pick:
Despite being 41 years old, for Cannetti this fight can be a step down in competition, since his last fights were against Marlon Vera (currently ranked in the weight category) and Danaa Batgerel (dangerous KO artist of 135 pounds). While Martinez has considerable KO power, aside from a win over Ricky Turcios (TUF 29 finalist), he is a green fighter in various aspects of the fight. Cannetti must take advantage of his veteran status, avoid exchanges and use his effective wrestling, from there is where Mana Martinez's cardio and grappling defense will be tested. Fighting smart and from the distance is the way for Cannetti. He must also avoid throwing many leg kicks as against Batgerel to avoid the counter KO. The victory for Ninja Cannetti does not seem so impossible to me despite being 2-4 in the UFC, many of Cannetti's losses have been in fights that he was dominating or up on the cards just before the moment of being finalized.

Kevin Lee, DEC
Not too confident, it does also depend what kind of Kevin Lee shows up. Lee is very good at timing his takedowns and using his boxing to set up the takedowns, but he can also get backed up and if he does he notably slows down a lot. D Rod can back Lee up, especially with counters and boxing but I do also believe that Lee can time some takedowns and land them. If he does land the takedowns I don't see too much resistance from D Rod off his back so because of that I've got Lee, close one though but I'm just banking on Lee getting those takedowns
