Decision card if there ever was one... 8 of the 9 fights went the distance! And the only finish was a ground & pound tko. Also that draw was questionable imo i thought Montana did enough to win mostly cuz of the point deduction i honestly thought she won the 1st round so it woulda been 10-8 and i thought she at least won round 2 or 3.

If I wasnt a Gane fan I definitely wouldve been mad at this fight and wished Jair did more. Ultimately in fights like these that are on the lower side of the activity and are lopsided, the one who is being dominated is responsible for furthering the action

This was one of the worst cards of 2021 so far, we had a finish and a great 3 round war but that’s it. The rest of the card was just wrestling and decisions. The main event was very tactical and one sided and the co-main event had the exciting KO artist winning an average decision.

It's absolutely on the fighter losing to push pace. You will make WAY more money consistently winning boring fights than getting KO'd in an exciting loss. 

Look at Curtis Blaydes. He had a 100k win bonus per fight in his contract. The fight of the night award gets 50k. Losing a fun fight didn't help him.

At the end of the day they are trying to secure the bag and win fights whatever way they can to provide for their family, as a fan watching yeah it was a little boring but also gane was very clever with his gameplan

@ericson Nah you don't, You need to have a mix of both to have the most money. The UFC really reward  fighter who have fun fights with more money and less fight to title shot. Fighters shouldn't be just bleed because it risky and winning is ,important for legitimacy  , But being boring don't help much either as then fans don't want to watch you fight. 

@tw jake I don't blame either people for having boring fight because it not my brain getting hit  but at the same time I don't want to hear them ***** about people calling them boring, Or why no one care about them.

agreed duck, you dont grow your fan base being involved in boring fights, no matter which fighter is to blame. both gane and rozenstruik took a giant step back in my book.

Tbh I never was impress with Rozenstuck, He a fighter where he only look good in the combo of the knock out. Just like Derrick Lewis. The only reason he so highly ranked is because he got a fluke  knock-out of Overeem after getting piece up for 5 round, Gane should of finish him if he has any chance of beating most of the top 5 guys like Stipe, Volkov Blaydes and Francis at the moment, Gane doesn't have power or finishing skill on the feet and these top guys will make him pay for it.

Judges were literally on LSD

Them judges seriously need to go get their heads examined they have no ******* clue when it comes to judging fights they don’t even give a 10 - 8 if you drop people twice in a round. They should judge the fight on the damage absorbed but instead there judging they the fights on who can lay on the others person back for longer. **** SHOW!! Dana needs to make ex fighters the judges at least it would be judged fairly. Can’t bear to see people getting robbed of the hard work and dedication they put into the sport.

Were you trying to lose? Managed to get a perfect on the main event but stupidly put it in a double because I thought ankaelev would get a finish . I think gane finishes overeem in pretty similar fashion to volkov and he wins a decision against lewis as well imo. I don’t find it entertaining but you got to like the way he stays composed the whole fight. He clearly doesn’t throw with power so it all takes is him to switch off once for someone like lewis or rozenstruik to beat him but I don’t think he would. A heavyweight who can win by decision and doesn’t force the finish is good for making some money off bets imo
