I went back all the way to the 20th page and didn't see anyone who started a thread about movies. If there is one, just let this thread sink away into the abyss of thread history, but if not, this is something we can talk about. We've got one for every sport, music, and TV shows. So I figured might as well.

I wish that Bradley Cooper will stop making movies with Jennifer Lawrence.

Seriously, it was fine the first time, but now will people stop riding the JLaw/Cooper bandwagon. If I had a nickel for every time I have seen Lawrence's crying face, where her corners of her mouth get pulled to the bottom of her chin because you look "Sadder", I would have a **** ton of nickels.

Watched the most recent Suicide Squad trailer, and after thinking, I have come to the conclusion that Brittany Murphy would have been the perfect Harley Quinn. Her look, personality, everything. She would have ******* nailed it. I always really enjoyed her and her movies, was so bummed when she passed. And now after realizing this, I am suddenly depressed. Time to go drink myself to sleep.

I'll go as far as saying that I think Murphy as Harley Quinn would be on-par with Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. Sue me.

Macaulay Culkin would be a better joker than Leto

@jodybanman I originally wanted Michael Keaton to play Joker. (It all comes full circle in the end)

But Leto is the flavor of the month now so meh. Him and his pretentious "method acting". You win one oscar for an average movie and you think you are hot **** like Daniel Day Lewis.

Here are internet comments when they announced the casting of the Joker

"probably the worst casting of all time."

"On no, it's wrong on every level."

"This is totally bull. I do not at all like this choice."

"Hell NOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"And now begins the second downfall of the Batman series... I hope this is all a joke"

"I am NOT seeing this movie if he is in it."

"The Joker is a character that needs an actor with gravity. Not some little twerp who got lucky

Oh wait that's when they announced Heath Ledger for The Dark Night

to be fair, he got a lot of heat for that because he was just coming off "Brokeback Mountain" so people had those thoughts.

Honestly, I never seen Brokeback at the time, but I have watched his other works prior. So I was ok with the decision at the time.

Leto just came of playing a gay transvestite so he would seem perfect for the Joker, especially considering Ledger was coming off playing a gay cowboy. The point is most fans like to ***** and if you listened to comic book fans or internet fans they would probably have Nathan Filion playing every part. You try to get them to pick who should play who and 19/20 suggestions sound utterly ridiculous.

As long as the writers aren't complete wastes of flesh and bone a wild chimp could pull off playing Joker. Act like a psycho, laugh like a psycho, read your lines like a psycho. Hence, I tend to care more about who is writing/directing the movie more than about who's playing who when it comes to most superhero movies. There are exceptions like Deadpool for example, but Ryan Reynolds is perfect for that role IMO. If you can give me a good story and bring a comic to life for a couple of hours, I don't really care if it's Al Pacino or Al Yankovich I'm seeing beat up criminals while wearing a costume.

Heath Ledger is 1000 times the actor that Leto is, even now, being dead.  and what's with the metal teeth?
