I see a pretty even striking match... Maia shows improvement in each fight. My money"s on Maia by late sub. I think he's got the patience and skills to steal the win by capitalizing on any small mistakes made by Fitch.

Tough fight to call.

Fitch is amazing at doing what he does, but his normal strategy is an awfully risky one against a guy like Maia.

Fitch probably could go the route of avoiding the ground game if he wants to, and forcing a stand up fight, but that would probably be pretty even. Neither fighter is particularly dangerous standing up.

I think it will be a grappling match. If Maia doesn't finish Fitch, Fitch probably wins a decision.

Stylistically bad matchup. Big difference with having Maia on your back than Penn and Silva.

If the aggressive ADCC Maia that fought DYK, and Story shows up, it could be a interesting fight. Also, i think if the Fitch that fought anybody shows up, he wins a UD.

Maia has looked aggressive in his 2 WW fights, which is how he initially fought when he got to the UFC before he lost to Marquardt. His trip to triangle choke against Chael Sonnen is one of my all time favorite submissions.

Maia has been very impressive since his weight drop. Both his fights ended pretty quick so we didn't get to see how he looks in round 2-3. With Fitch we know what to expect. His sub defense is one of the best in the UFC and is very tough for 15 minutes. I give a slight striking advantage to Fitch. Maia's gameplan is pretty straight forward and consists of taking Fitch to the floor and look for submissions. I think Fitch will lose the 1st round and come close to getting caught in the submission and will rally a "Fitchesque" comeback to win a decision.

I wanna see Maia choke Fitch so damn hard his eyeballs pop out of their sockets. This is either gonna end by Fitch smothering Maia or Maia choking the brains from Fitch's nose. This is somewhat of a toss up. If Fitch fights smart, like he usually does, then he should win. If he makes a minor slip, Maia is going to strangle him
