Why is Nazare in the Season 6 LW Tournament over Jacob Kirwan?

Both of them had their last fight against each other at Bellator 54 and Jacob Kirwan won.  Now, Nazare is fighting this Friday in the LW tournament while Kirwan is fighting on the prelims.

It wasn't a close fight by any means either, Kirwan basically dominated the latter two rounds with solid takedowns and gnp after a close first round.

I just find it strange how Bellator chose to set up their tournament like this, despite their slogan being about title shots being earned not given...  It sure seems like Nazare was given a chance at this tournament to me.

Without Nazare, the poster would look like an episode of Friends.

I think it's affirmative action.

There are already three other Brazilians and one black guy in the tournament. Even though you're just joking, "affirmative action" has nothing to do with it.
