Line movement for Zalal is definitely sus, but the FactoryX debuff plus short-notice should be in full effect to guarantee a Billy Q win.

A lot of people focus on Zalal's losses to Woodson and Topuria because they aged well, but you needn't forget that the three guys he beat in his first UFC run have a combined record of 3-9, and he's only beaten cans since getting cut.

If Rose doesn't get Ribas out of there early, this will be a close fight. Rose has a habbit of letting the rounds slip away. Thank god we have a crowd for next week, I am not a fan of the Apex

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 425 Points   |   Tied for 1966th

What's everyone's most confident play for this weekend's card? I'm really liking Namajunas to get back in the win column in this one and also like Parkin by KO/TKO.

Ribas vs. Namajunas
Rose Namajunas, TKO, R4
Rose is too good. She is better than Ribas everywhere. Also Ribas has never gone 5 rounds and Rose usually wins rounds 4 and 5 in her fights. I can see Ribas throwing a lot of volume early but getting pieced up and there also being some nice scrambles on the ground. Rose could also get takedowns and control Ribas for some time. Regardless I think she wears Ribas down and gets a finish late as she tires

Pajuelo vs. Padilla
Luis Pajuelo, DEC
Really like this fight. Initially I thought I'd pick Padilla, but after watching tape I am less impressed. Padilla has nice straight strikes, especially his left and nice tepe kicks but he is quite hittable. And despite having a good chin he can get a little rocked and pushed back. He is also open to leg kicks and does not kick as much as he should with his size and reach. Pajuelo has nice striking and a brawling style, using hands elbows and leg and body kicks. He too has a good chin and I can see him getting inside Padilla's reach and starting a brawl, but he can also use leg kicks and slow Padilla down like Kyle Nelson did. Most importantly for me is Pajuelo's wrestling. Padilla has poor takedown defence and has a tendency to jump gilly in the past. I don't like that. He also can spend a long time on his back throwing up submissions and trying to work a rubber guard which is not going to catch Pajuela. Pajuela on the other hand has strong and heavy ground and pound and he will likely get it down to the ground and make it count. So basically while they are somewhat even on the feet the ground game is very much on Pajuelos side

Don't worry, he has picked Justin Tafa to win. His pick rate will plummet soon and it will be service as usual soon 😆

I picked Tafa too just because how bad Williams looked against chase Sherman but I might switch because these fat dudes from down under have awful grappling defense

I just remember Karl Williams going 1/10 on takedowns against chase Sherman of all people. If you can’t ragdoll chase Sherman than your grappling is probably quite trash

I'm really confident in Williams. More than it makes sense for me to be really. I think he will just pick up Tafa and dominate him with grappling.

It’s definitely possible, I just didn’t like how he gassed badly against brzeski and looked pretty mediocre against chase Sherman. I feel like tafa would have at least put Sherman away

I wish they didn't book Erosa on the same card as Padilla for his comeback after the KO, that has to **** with his head seeing him all fight week and being reminded of it.

It does feel like a true 50/50. I hope they don't mesh each other up too bad, and Talbot likes to finish late too, so watch out for that shid.

He might have but I think that's a matchup question. Chase isn't actually that bad of a striker and he's a big ol boy that takes some effort to throw around. His main issue was always a terrible mental game. He breaks over any adversity really, he seems to hate fighting lol.

Not saying Williams shouldn't have been able to grapple Chase better but Tafa has really never faced a wrestler before. I don't trust these top-heavy samoans to stand up to someone that can shoot a double which I think Williams can.
