Javid Basharat, DEC
Basharat brothers grapple **** decision fighters. Zahabi tricky fighter especially in the pocket Javid must exit. could make it tougher for Basharat. Basharat will come out to prove himself last fight NC.
Duncan vs. Ribeiro
Christian Leroy Duncan, TKO, R1
Duncan should look to set this guy up and send him to the shadow realm. he has better cadio and good TD defense. Riberio sig strike defense is low. look for fight doesnt go. They have19 finishes in 20 fights(wins).

Shamil Gaziev, SUB, R2
Don't feel terribly comfortable with this pick. After all this is a heavyweight fight, with a guy in Gaziev who is taking a massive step up in competition. Gaziev tends to engage in firefights at times and although he does have very good boxing for the weight class he does leave his chin in the air. If he decides to do this with Bigi he will be in serious trouble. Gaziev hasn't shown that he is chinny but Bigi is extremely powerful and is a vet. If Gaziev takes this fight to the ground, which he absolutely should, it's all his fight. I see Bigi doing well in the first round but Gaziev ultimately will find the takedown and either submit or gnp tko Bigi here.
Petrino vs. Pedro
Vitor Petrino, TKO, R2
This one may be closer than the lines suggest. Pedro is the more precise and technical striker here and is dangerous in the first round. He has power in his hands but has only really finished lower level guys as of recent (Hunsucker, Villanueva). We have also seen Pedro get finished before and if this fight leaves the first round Pedro is in trouble. Petrino on the other hand is an absolute force. He has death touch power as we saw in his last bout vs Bukauskas and a solid grappling game as well. Ultimately, I do think Petrino finds the ko shot here but Pedro may be live in rd 1 by being the more technical striker.
Perez vs. Mokaev
Muhammad Mokaev, SUB, R1
This looks to be a match made in heaven for Mokaev. He's had a few somewhat mediocre performances recently but that's because of his opponents having good ground games and he still found a way to sub them. Perez in this case is extremely prone to get submitted and that's exactly what will happen here. Give me Mokaev vs Albazi after this.
Schnell vs. Erceg
Steve Erceg, SUB, R3
This is an interesting one. I think this is going to be an extremely fun fight especially given the styles of these guys. Erceg pressures heavily in his fights, always attacks submissions, and has a solid chin. That being said he does not move his head and Schnell, who is game and will not die easy may very well take advantage of this. Erceg does not have finishing ability on the feet and Schnell will quickly realize that and not give him any respect standing. That being said, I see Erceg having success grappling and finding a sub here. Schnell is not a bad shout for a sizeable underdog here though.
Nurmagomedov vs. Almakhan
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Bezkat actually seems to be a very solid prospect and I think he'll have a bright future but Umar is far too much to handle here. I do think Bezkat makes it to the scorecards though he seems to be solid all around. Umar desperately needs a step up.
Rosas Jr. vs. Turcios
Raul Rosas Jr., DEC
One week later and I'm still taking Rosas here by decision. Him falling sick is a slight concern but I'd assume he'll be good by Saturday and with this fight being at the Apex instead of MX city the elevation does not play a factor so Rosas' cardio concern is less crucial here. I think Rosas will be too much for Turcios and will push the pace of the fight but Ricky is tough and will make awkward scrambles when Rosas inevitably grapples. That being said Rosas controls Ricky for the majority of the fight while attacking submissions and takes this one by UD
Anders vs. Pickett
Eryk Anders, TKO, R2
Not high on Anders at all but Pickett simply is not UFC level. Anders will have success on the feet and in the grappling game and wins this one pretty comfortably. Don't see a path to victory for Pickett.
Basharat vs. Zahabi
Javid Basharat, DEC
We'll get a Basharat decision W here per usual. When is it time for the Basharats to get a step up?
Radzhabov vs. Al-Selwady
Loik Radzhabov, DEC
Taking a shot on Loik here, Al-Selwady had a career win over Hardwick on the contender series and looked good but Loik is the more experienced fighter here and has fought a much higher level of competition.
Duncan vs. Ribeiro
Christian Leroy Duncan, TKO, R2
I like CLD to find the KO here but the line is a little wide. I'm not fully sold on CLD but in this fight he should find the finish on the feet.
Klein vs. Cunningham
Ľudovít Klein, TKO, R1
Huge mismatch here easy W for Ludovit

Against Buday, the doubts regarding Gaziev corresponded to his cardio, but in his debut he not only beat Buday during round 1, but at the beginning of round 2 he entered the octagon to continue beating him and finish Buday (a HW that had shown considerable durability in the past).
Jairzinho has considerable KO power and the most logical, convenient and intelligent thing would be for Gaziev to look for takedowns and take advantage of the gap in Jairzinho's Submission Defense. If Gaziev passes the test in Jarzinho's matchup, put him against Spivak next and we could be talking about Bahrain having a Top 5 fighter in his third fight.
