Chairez is far more dangerous on his back and on the feet than Hernandez despite being lower ranked (he would have beaten Carpenter if he didn’t slow in rounds 2 & 3). TBF I think Hernandez has decent get ups & a great sense of urgency driving it, but Taira will keep hunting his back and at some point Hernandez will just accept

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 265 Points   |   Tied for 4056th

Song vs. Gutierrez
Yadong Song, DEC
Interesting fight I think song gets it done but Gutierrez is a live underdog

Muniz vs. Park
Jun Yong Park, TKO, R2
Up the iron turtle, also you can’t be getting tko’d by Paul Craig that’s just not a good look

Haqparast vs. Mullarkey
Jamie Mullarkey, DEC
Can see Jamie mixing up the grappling and striking to win a close decision Aussie, Aussie, Aussie !!!

Taira vs. Hernandez
Tatsuro Taira, SUB, R3
Very tough test for Taira not to confident in him here his striking is a bit behind his grappling

Sumudaerji vs. Nascimento
Allan Nascimento, SUB, R2
Interesting fight here can see either winning by tko or sub however I see Allan’s grappling being the difference

Park vs. Ross
Hyun Sung Park, TKO, R1
Ross has no chin he needs to retire

Song vs. Jousset
Kevin Jousset, TKO, R3
Big step up for Kevin here, Song has fought some solid competition however I see Kevin destroying his body and legs finding a late tko in the 3rd

Egger vs. Santos
Luana Santos, DEC
Again really hard to predict either egged schools santos or santos schools egger both don’t really have great wins

dos Santos vs. Alencar
Rayanne dos Santos, DEC
How do you even pick this ?

How is Muniz a +200 dog to Park? I rate Park, but Muniz is huge, more athletic, has great BJJ and can get almost anyone down to the mat. Muniz by sub will probably be at incredible odds come Dec 9

Because Muniz has one round of cardio, no chin, and quits when he faces grappling resistence

Muniz is not that good of a wrestler though (as a lot of the brazilians: great BJJ, not so great wrestling).

I think Park will get it done.

Park  will do his paper cut punchs pressure style and Muniz will crumble after not being able to take the fight to the ground. My guess is round 2 TKO.

I can't see how people think anthony smith will win this fight, he has nothing left in him as a fighter, his testosterone is gone to the point where he needs to play mental tricks on himself in the middle of his fight to get motivated.

I'm not sure of how much of Muniz's wrestling is technically correct, but he has never failed to get an opponent to the ground so far in his UFC career. The Brendan Allen fight might be the sole exception, and even then he was competitive (I think he was winning a rd or two on the cards until the sub) with Allen who's a decent striker in his own right. Jun Yong Park has shown a susceptibility to takedowns in the past and for having only 1 KD in the most recent of his 9 UFC fights, I think it's a little early to be confident in him KOing his opponents now. I might leave the sub prop alone but Muniz at +200 seems like very good value

Parks hands are good tho. He was ******* up duraev on the feet and had Obama on skates before the stoppage. It’s not like Muniz has much to offer on the feet plus he is very chinny

He doesn’t need to ko Muniz standing tho. Muniz will shell up and play defense on the ground when he gets tired; park will just rain gnp down on him

I feel in Anthony Smith's most recent fights he's been focusing on being safe rather than trying to be a killer, could explain why his last few fights seemed so uneventful

Duraev and Munoz are basically the same type of fighter where they're easier to break once they meet some type of resistance.

Song vs. Gutierrez
Yadong Song, DEC
i fully expect song to implement his grappling. staying on the feet is the only way he could lose this as gutierrez’s leg kicks are no joke. gutierrez seems tough enough to survive on the ground and i will be very impressed if song can finish him there. i expect this to be similar to rob font vs sandhagen.

Smith vs. Rountree Jr.
Khalil Rountree Jr., TKO, R3
respect to smith for fighting down against a killer like rountree

Muniz vs. Park
Jun Yong Park
how the mighty have fallen, muniz and iron turtle have had reverse careers. muniz was a super hyped prospect and look at him now, meanwhile no one expected much from it and look at him now.

Haqparast vs. Mullarkey
Nasrat Haqparast, TKO, R2
nasrat dropped quinones several times and i expect him to also catch mullarkey except i don’t see him recovering and surviving.

Park vs. Ross
Hyun Sung Park, TKO, R1
realistically i think park is going to take ross down and choke him out but wouldn’t it be hilarious if ross lost three in a round by first round ko? still the most questionable signing from dwcs when countless actually talented fighters have been passed on, sign my boy daniel allen from last season.

Egger vs. Santos
Luana Santos, DEC
santos is a fellow judo practitioner and her takedown defense seems good enough to stop egger from taking this to the ground, and i favor santos on the feet.

dos Santos vs. Alencar
Rayanne dos Santos, TKO, R3
i picked alencar to win on dwcs and i’m still mad her and the girl she fought got signed over daniel allen. alencar is a lay and pray machine and that’s about it. i’ll give her props for how tough she is but honestly her last opponent being unable to finish her in the third had more to do with her being equally bad.

i thought dana was ******** for signing shannon ross but maybe he’s actually just a genius?

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 445 Points   |   Tied for 2228th

how funny would it be if ross losses all three of his ufc fights by first round highlight reel ko. maybe i was wrong in questioning dana and he’s actually a genius for signing him. so far ross has gotten paid what 15k to get brutally knocked out twice? what a complete steal of a deal by the tomato. now he gets to gift park an easy first round sub/ko win to start building him up, well done.

Kinda feel bad for Ross tbh, Dude can’t take a punch, it doesn’t matter how good you are if your that chinny, your not going to be great. you can’t avoid getting hit, every fighter get hit at somepoint in pretty much every fight,

Same goes for Jason Witt and Kharma Worthy
