In the end

Predictions: 7 of 9 Winners, 0 Perfect, 350 Points   |   Tied for 1216th

I regret buying that. I didn’t have high hopes, but wanted to support. First and last of pfl payperviews I’ll purchase. Also the refs were a bit suspicious. Mario is Mario, but they all seemed so amateur in their refereeing and really wanted constant action. They took away an advantageous position or two that I wasn’t too sure made sense. Also I believe the announcer called Brunson “Derek Cooper” on the walkout.

PFL 10 AND PFL BELLATOR

The fight card was trash last night and this merger will be trash. Jesus is the only entertaining fighter that the PFL has and he deserved to get all those checks last night since he's the only one that came to fight (and he won that first fight imo), Clay is awesome but if you're 30 and still can't frame a face and shuck off a clinch to win a million freaking dollars then i don't know what i'm supposed to feel about you as a fighter. if you can't elbow on the ground then i'm not going to call it mma. this is some next level bs to have on a PPV and in the words of President Bush...fool me once shame on you...fool me twice...the point is you can't fool me again. give me some elbows and then i'll at least consider this bs a real mma promotion. i'll take a UFC fight night prelim only on PPV before i buy anything to do with that trash promotion, no merch, no views and definitely no PPV's.

Things wrong with PFL

Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 570 Points   |   279th Place

First time watching a PFL event as I really wanted to show support as competition is better for all BUT:

1.The event was way too long
  • Too many five-rounds on one card (split the mf in two days)
  • Why is a championship fight on the prelims
2.The presentation is horribly bland af
  • Useless stats on the screen (no one cares how fast they are throwing shots mid fight)
  • Looks like they trying to be cleaner than the UFC bland pale colour presentation.
  • The arena itself was did not look good it gave the event a regional promotion feeling as due to the area structure it looked as if there were seats empty
3.Build-up video package focuses on personal life rather than fight footage
  • No mention on who they faced to get to the finals
4.Rules are a mess
  • No elbows are some bs
  • Get better referees as some were not bad but not good

ramblings of someone who attended

Predictions: 4 of 6 Winners, 0 Perfect, 215 Points   |   Tied for 1415th

Skimming the comments, seems like most people weren't a fan of this event.  Not that anyone will care, but this was the first event I've ever attended in person and I truly, truly enjoyed the night.  I know the fights were a bit lackluster, it would've been awesome to see some more exciting finishes, but I was glued to the action the entire time I was in there, the pacing may have felt off on tv but it felt fine in person honestly.  The view I had from my seat was amazing, looking down over the ring and seeing all of the action instead of the different camera angles, the only issue I had was seeing how much time was left but even then I could peek around the corner to see the big screen.  For the price I paid, I don't think I'll ever enjoy an mma event as much as I did for this one.
