Oezdemir's chin might possibly be fading, but he ate Guskov's shot's fine. Getting to the point where you are ranked contender in the UFC probably selects for a better chin, so lower level guys might just be less durable generally. Punches that looked devastating in Guskov's reel are maybe not that much of an issue in the big show

That's my understanding. And it has to be in the Gi. Which is why a lot of browns never make black. It's not the skills per se it's also the time.

I am no grappler but my BJJ is better than that Orcs

more like 10 for a black belt. obviously you can shorten that time, I think Gordon Ryan got his in only 5 or something like that. but on average it takes about a decade if I'm not mistaken
