@Kniferusty
I think it both depends on how bad the break was and the fighter's mentality, but the biggest effect in my opinion is how it impacts them psychologically.

Mike Perry had a pretty nasty break against Luque but he never really wound up changing in terms of approach, even if his dedication to MMA faltered, and now thrives in a setting that's more conducive to head injuries than MMA. Then you have Rory after his rematch with Lawler and that's a whole different story. It's similar to how some guys become gun shy after getting KO'd for the first time. Some manage to get their mojo back and move forward, but others just never really look the same.

Allen vs. Craig
Paul Craig, SUB, R2
TRIANGLE R2!

Matthews vs. Morales
Michael Morales, DEC
Morales grinds out a UD.

Leavitt vs. Hooper
Chase Hooper, DEC
American Nikita Krylov will win via his middling striking being better than Leavitts even more middling striking.

Talbott vs. Aguirre
Payton Talbott, TKO, R1
Talbott is gonna land what he did on Cortezz but finish the fight in the first.

Ribas vs. Pinheiro
Amanda Ribas, DEC
Ribas by simply having more cardio.

Medic vs. Orolbai
Uros Medic, TKO, R3
Probably the sleeper of the night, let's go to war gentlemen.

Motta vs. Ogden
Trey Ogden, DEC
Ogden has better wins and a cooler nickname, I am basing my pick entirely on this.

Parkin vs. Machado
Mick Parkin, TKO, R2
Probably gonna be a Mick Parkin decision, but R2 KO in the hopes of some excitement.

Pearce vs. Brito
Jonathan Pearce, SUB, R3
JP avoiding Nukes for the first, body and leg damage in the 2nd; sub in the 3rd. (probably a decision tho)

Anheliger vs. Johnson
Chad Anheliger, DEC
Jose "No TDD" Johnson will get blitzed and outhustled... Unless chad just tries to stand with the dude half a foot taller than him.

Johnson vs. Estevam
Rafael Estevam, TKO, R2
Inner G, why it gotta end like this?

Alexander vs. Saragih
Lucas Alexander, TKO, R2
This is going to be a kickboxing match, I would not bet on -530 but odds are that Lucas is going to win by KO or UD. Seeing how aggressive Saragih is, I like the KO R2.

Duncan vs. Tiuliulin
Christian Leroy Duncan, DEC
I just have this gut feeling that CLD is gonna grapple more than usual and play it safe after suffering his first loss.

Brendan Allen vs Paul Craig

Predictions: 6 of 9 Winners, 2 Perfect, 380 Points   |   Tied for 3469th

On paper, Paul craig should not be able to beat Brendan but somehow Paul almost always pulls off an upset. I don't know how he is making this weight as he already looked big at 205. Maybe that gives him a strength advantage in the grappling exchanges. If it stays standing Brendan should be able to dominate easily.

I don’t get why everyone is so high on Hooper he’s slow and sloppy Leavitt isn’t amazing but he’s tough and slick with the grappling I think he wins this fight

definitely his biggest test by far but Morales is good everywhere. So is Matthew’s but I think Morales has the speed advantage and wins this fight

If Matthews wrestles, then things could get interesting. If he goes full striking though, which he's done in the past, I don't see how Morales doesn't coast to a win at worst.

Both Talbott and Aguirre are still raw IMO. Again, I'm not saying Talbott shouldn't be the favorite. His striking is very good. But Aguirre is also a really good prospect.

Talbott is having some insane expectations put on him being dubbed the next OMalley. -800 for your UFC debut is wild, especially when you were basically a pick'em with REYES CORTEZ for your DWCS fight.

Talbott being -250 or -300, ok. 3 to 1 favorite for a highly touted striker, sure. -800 is wild.

(LOCKS) UFC Fight Night: Allen vs Craig

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 2567th

Allen vs. Craig
Brendan Allen, KO/TKO R2

Craig does find a way to upset fighters better than him with his grapple game, but I think Allen keeps the fight on his feet and lands more consistent sig strikes. Close to a finish in R1 and then finishes the job R2

Matthews vs. Morales
Michael Morales, DEC

Morales' defense wins him this fight. I think he may struggle a little bit with Matthews speed and power but if he can avoid the big shot he will pull off a UD. Wouldn't be surprised if its a split D

Medic vs. Orolbai
Myktybek Orolbai, KO/TKO, R3

I believe this will be a good fight overall. The majority of users on Tapology went with Medic, but I think Orolbai will be able to get the R3 finish. He can take some shots if needed and will wear out Medic.

Pearce vs. Brito
Joanderson Brito, KO/TKO, R1

Brito will come out strong in the first. probably a few legit high speed exchanges resulting in a Brito KO.

Pudilová vs. Perez
Lucie Pudilová, TKO, R2
Lucie deserves more from the Judges. She just lost a decision stylistically to a fighter who comes in with the same lay and pray gameplan as a favorite against her. Ailin has never been hit like Lucie will. Just ask Lina Lansberg. She has to faint instead of throwing distance punches to stay balanced for the takedowns then counter off. Way more dog in Lucie than Ashley Evans Smith. Might go to split decision between takedowns and strike damage.

Brito by smash unless JP was sandbagging his last fight against "The Damage". He should have finished that fight. If he truly could not then he is not as impressive as I once though.
