Groundbreaking New Predictions
Predictions: 2 of 8 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points | Tied for 4146th
I desire Ricky Glenn at -160. He has an automatic sprawl. Glenn will boil the crowd noise. Sure thing!
Marshall vs. Gomis
I am enamored with Francis Marshall at -210. He has a ultrasonic stutter step. Marshall is gonna blast the Octagon.
Tavares vs. Silva
I finger Brad Tavares at -160. He has a cybernetic reverse frankensteiner and a gifted fallaway moonsault slam. Tavares will punish the ring announcer.
Danaa vs. Hiestand
I crave Batgerel Danaa at -140. He has a delicious side kick to the throat and an amazing ankle lock. Danaa might escape the Octagon.
Lucindo vs. Walker
I choose Iasmin Lucindo at -350. She has a bonkers hane goshi. Lucindo will victimize the bandit.
Yahya vs. Jackson
I am enamored with Montel Jackson at -600. He has a xenophobic attitude and a lascivious leg kick. Jackson could warp the natural order.
Green vs. Gordon
I tap Bobby Green at -275. He has a casual guillotine and an illogical bear hug. Green isn't about to nationalize the performance.
Pavlovich vs. Blaydes
I fancy Curtis Blaydes at -165. He has a xerophthalmic bear hug and a judicious chin. Blaydes is gonna terminate the underdog.

If this was 4-5 years ago, I think Bobby Green has a 70% chance of knocking Gordon out. However, Gordon has gotten much, much more well rounded in the last few years. His boxing specifically has improved by a few orders of magnitude at minimum.
My question is simple: do you think Bobby Green dominates because he's traditionally been so good against wrestlers? As much as his striking has improved, Gordon is going to have to mix it up to get a win here. If he has issues trying to clinch with Green or with taking him down, he's going to struggle bad.
I also feel like Gordon is probably out to make a statement since he feels like he was robbed of a win that would have given him a lot of momentum. Tough call for me.

So, did he have an injury and just didn't spend enough time recovering after fighting Poatan, or is he just getting exposed because he's off the juice?
I think Silva needs a KO and Tavares is a typical Hawaiian: tough as nails and has an iron chin.

Skill for skill I don’t think it’s close at all on the feet. Gordon is a good point striker with good volume, but he’s not nearly as quick as Bobby is. Also, Bobby’s jab is killer. Bobby’s anti wrestling ability is also very good. I don’t see how Gordon beats him.

Pavlovich, KO/TKO
Hand speed and reach are probably going to be a huge problem for Blaydes. I think the first round of this fight could be very boring as both guys try to feel eachother out. I could see Blaydes landing a TD or two but not ending the fight. I think the first 2-3 minutes of the 2nd round, if it even makes it that far, is where the fight has a good chance of ending. I don't think Blaydes striking is diverse enough to keep him afloat long enough to win this fight. He's very hard to hit but when he gets hit clean, he goes down hard. If this fight lasts longer than 10 minutes I will **** a brick. I thought what Pavlovich did to Tuivasa was absurdly impressive. As of this writing, Jon Jones is the only fighter I'd take to beat Pavlovich.
Tavares vs. Silva
Silva, KO/TKO
Silva was clearly compromised to me in his last fight and has to be thrown out. I think Tavares will be happy to meet him in the center and as hard as he is to finish, Silva loves to brawl and can definitely get him out of there. Something of note too is that Silva's entire 5 fight UFC career has occured over the same duration of Tavares' last two fights. Context of course matters but I almost always lean towards the more active fighter in match-ups that I think are close.
Green vs. Gordon
Green, DEC
I'm ever so slightly leaning Bobby Green because he has traditionally been so good against wrestlers but I have almost no confidence here. Gordon's striking has improved by leaps and bounds the last few years. He has rounded himself out into a complete martial artist and I think he's very live here. The odds on this fight are way off IMO.
Lucindo vs. Walker
Lucindo, KO/TKO
I don't know how anyone watches either fighters first UFC fight and doesn't see this as a mismatch. This is probably going to be an ass whooping.
Wells vs. Semelsberger
Wells, SUB
Without question the most under-rated WW on the entire UFC roster right now IMO. I don't think Semi is better than him anywhere and I say that as someone who thinks the Jedi is pretty good. Wells has a very good chance of being ranked soon.
