Predictions: 2 of 11 Winners, 0 Perfect, 100 Points   |   Tied for 4213th

Pavlovich vs. Blaydes
Curtis Blaydes, TKO, R1
Please Bladyes for the love of god shoot a takedown within the first 30 seconds, otherwise he's getting turned into a heavy bag. Pavlovich looked lost on the ground against Overeem, I understand it was many years back and on short notice but his body language was off putting. Blaydes takes him down early and pounds him out, securing his title shot.

Tavares vs. Silva
Brad Tavares, DEC
If Brad decides to not move his head like he did against Dricus then he could get KO'd, but I really don't like the look of Silva getting comfortably outstruck by GM3. Brad will use the clinch to wear on Bruno and grind out a decision win.

Green vs. Gordon
Bobby Green, TKO, R3
I originally had Bobby by decision but if he gets in his groove I cannot see Jared Gordon surviving a beating like Nasrat and Dober did.

Lucindo vs. Walker
Iasmin Lucindo, TKO, R1
Brogan lost to Miller and posts some of the most god awful training footage ever on her Insta, if she wins then WMMA is no different than a coin flip.

Wells vs. Semelsberger
Matthew Semelsberger, TKO, R2
Wells will grapple early and give it everything he's got to find a submission but I think Matt will tough it out and starch a gassed Wells in the second round.

Glenn vs. Giagos
Ricky Glenn, TKO, R3
Glenn is better everywhere imo, I think they get a bit scrappy early but Ricky will start to mix in his wrestling and eventually finish Giagos with ground and pound in round 3 once he gasses.

Yahya vs. Jackson
Montel Jackson, DEC
I can see Montel KO'ing Rani but he couldn't KO Buys which is well..., but I think we see a similar fight happening where he hurts/drops Rani in multiple rounds but doesn't make the mistake of getting too aggressive like Kang did.

Rosa vs. Dumont
Karol Rosa, DEC
Not much to say about this one other than I think that Norma has been looking worse in her recent fights and that Rosa seems to be improving as of late. Curious to see how the new weight class suits her.

Usman vs. Tafa
Mohammed Usman, TKO, R1
Junior leaves a lot of openings on the feet and I can see him getting too confident in his striking and testing the power of Usman, and failing.

Marshall vs. Gomis
Francis Marshall, DEC
Is it just me or is Gomis' striking weird?

Cachoeira vs. Silva
Priscila Cachoeira, TKO, R1
Priscila by having that dog (and testosterone) in her.

Danaa vs. Hiestand
Batgerel Danaa, TKO, R1
Danaa's TDD should serve him early and as long as this fight stays on the feet it strongly favors Danaa.

I'm liking the dog money on a few of these fight, I think you could do my WMMA  betting stategie on a few of the mens fights, I think a lot of these fight could go both way, And you get a good line take it, I think it a real 50-50 card

I think Jackson and maybe Glenn are the only two favourte I can see as lock

From what I've seen so far, none of Pavlovich's opponents since he joined the UFC other than Overeem has taken a grapple heavy approach when fighting him.  They were all snuffed out in the first round because they couldn't neutralize his powerful striking.

Blaydes should win this fight because he is far and away the best grappler that Pavlovich has faced so far in his UFC run.  I think Blaydes standup has improved recently and I think he has improved his fight IQ after that horrific Lewis TKO where he made a mistake of telegraphing that takedown attempt which led into that kill shot.

Curtis Blaydes winning inside the distance is what I feel happens in the main event.

I also want Blaydes to win because I want to see him against Jon Jones.  We all know that Jones will neutralize Pavlovich's striking if he was to ever fight Jon but I want to see how Jones can do against an actual grappler who is around his size or bigger.

That fight was 5 years ago and Pav took it on short notice. He's a much better fighter now than he was then and even then with more preparation he might have won that fight against an aging Overeem. Curtis Blaydes is also not a decorated kickboxer like Overeem so the look is not remotely the same. Pavlovich isn't going to be threatened by any of Blaydes striking whatsoever. It's takedown or bust.

The hand speed and reach advantage Pavlovich has (the largest in the entire promotion) is going to be apparent in the first minute of the fight.

Curtis Blaydes beats just about every heavyweight in Bellator no problem and would easily be heavyweight champion.

Pavlovich would of gotten better at grappler, but I also argue that Blaydes is the best heavyweight wresler ever

In the last 5 years, we haven’t seen Pavovich gone out of a round, or anyone trying to grapple him, Who know what happen???

I could ask the same thing about what Blaydes has done in the past 5 years. His best win is against Volkov and I distinctly remember him almost passing out from exhaustion trying to give his post fight interview.

If we're wondering what Pavlovich looks like grappling, we can also wonder what Blaydes looks like against competent strikers he doesn't have a reach advantage against. We were robbed of an opportunity to learn if he's improved in his last fight because Aspinall got hurt.

Historically, Blaydes has gotten absolutely flattened by power punchers with competent striking and it's happened a different way each time.

1) Beaten up by Ngannou so bad it caused a Dr stoppage after 10 minutes.
2) Blitzed by Ngannou in under 1 minute.
3) Timed uppercut from Derrick Lewis after going 0-3 on takedowns.

Truthfully, nobody knows what's going to happen. But when I look at history, it's almost impossible for me to side with Blaydes.

Alistair Overeem was able to take Sergei Pavlovich down and finish him with ground and pound; Curtis Blaydes absolutely dominated him with his wrestling. Nobody since has engaged any grappling with him, I don't see Curtis Blaydes being able to take him down so easily but I think an overhand followed with a fake level change will be the key to Blaydes' success. Pavlovich has crushing hands but does hasn't been using a low of kicks, it's a close fight to pick but I'm going to say Pavlovich by second round TKO, as I think he has improved so much since the loss to Alistair Overeem.
