I need to see the mezzor wiki capping. Lewis has more ko’s than spivak so he should win right? @mezzor

I think Spivak will make light work of Lewis here, his best days are over and his health is on the way down. His only chance is a KO early and I see Spivak just scoring takedowns at will.

For once in recent times we are on opposite sides.
I think Spivak is super over rated and is going to get his ass handed to him

It could happen, outside of Tuivasa and Aspinall he hasn't faced any elite guys in the division. I don't think I'll be putting that fight in any big parlays anyway.

Honestly I'm not impressed or interested in Lewis finally losing weight. And if anything it's probably the result of an illness that canceled this fight last time, after weigh ins. A fighter pushing 40 finally losing all that baby fat everyone said they had their whole career is often the last thing a fighter does before hanging it up.
Suddenly a 40 year old Oscar De La Hoya is like "I can drop down two weight classes and have a size advantage" and they post shredded workout pics and make weight and it's a whole thing. And then they get in there completely spent, looking like a mummy just getting peppered by Manny Pacquiao.
Dan Hooker did this and I was immediately like "uh oh, this dude's cooked", but he's fighting against the curse right now.

Chris Daukaus will probably do it. When he's 36+ years old, career at a stand still, suddenly he's got six pack abs and is gonna try to make 185. It never works.

Derrick is finally fighting someone who's more of a quitter himself and will gas trying to hold him down. Vintage KO time

Tbh this whole card is a landmine with picks that could go either way. Would stay away from this one betting wise if I did bet

I agree with all of those except for Spivak. I feel like Derrick could show up and KO him, show that there's still levels to this

I mean Lewis' last 2 loses are against killers who both have that oneshot power and Lewis is probably the easiest guy to KO due to his non existent cardio, like rly when I watch Lewis I feel like he's gassed after walkout at least for me he looks aliven't, and then when he is gassed he is not even able to hold himself correctly but somehow he was making it work before so, we'll see what happens

Derrick can definitely KO Spivak, and Spivak is there to get hit. But I also don't think Spivak fears Lewis, like Blaydes. So I dont see him staying at that mid range where he's in danger. I think 30 seconds into the fight, Spivak will have Lewis against the cage, controlling one wrist and looking for a body trip. He's gonna be a wet blanket, and we're just gonna watch him ground and pound til the ref steps in. I dont think its gonna be a "fun" fight.

Yeah but if there's one thing Lewis is good at, it's getting up when taken down. He just says "no" to grappling. Idk if the weight loss is gonna make that his strength and get up game worse, or be a good thing and make his cardio better (maybe both) but the fight is very tricky to predict IMO

Problem is Lewis best tools are reflex hand speed and counters.
Against a younger faster guy this wont work 80% thats without huge grappling advantage.
He has to get lucky as he did in most his wins if you actually watch them.
Frangon staring match not included.

My problem with the argument that "Lewis isn't shot yet" is that it presumes that Lewis has to be shot to lose when in reality he was never that good to begin with.
His power is what gives him a shot in any match but in my opinion he's won more fights than he ought to given his skillset and had some luck on his side.

The last time Doo Ho Choi fought was on a card that had Cyril Gane on the prelims vs Tanner Boser. Who knows what he'll look like in this one.
