This goes back to what me and Andrew and Bananas keep telling people. Bet the fighter, not the odds. If you aren't confident in the fighter then pass.

If someone was going to give me $10 million if a meteor hit the earth tomorrow, or $100 if it didn't, I'd take the $100 and go get a burger. If I was wrong I'd be dead anyway

I haven't lost money since Kattar injured himself against Allen. 8 events in a row of nailing every single parlay I've bet. almost 3 months of nonstop winning. why am I so blessed? why is life treating me so well? 

I can't help but ask myself: when will this stop? is this how it's going to be until the end of times? am I not defying the laws of the universe? sometimes it scares me how much I'm winning to the point I need to remind myself I'm human

thank god there's a UFC break this weekend because I'll be personally flying over to Greece to contractually lock up the purchase of my Mykonos villa for this summer. St Tropez, Nice, Lake Como, Ibiza - all those places are the past. Mykonos is where all the baddie IG models spend their summers from now on and that's where I will be residing for the entirety of the summer. Mykonos and Santorini - the absolute future of summer vacationing and IG baddie sight-seeing. 

can't wait to jump into this card rejuvenated and refreshed in 2 weeks - will still be making absolute bank on the Beterbiev vs Yarde card this weekend though. money doesn't sleep.

I think Bohm could be the worst female fighter on the roster, While I think Kim is top 10 worst women fighter on the roster, But the thing with these low skilled women fights they're usually pretty close, I think this fight should be line closer, that is all, Kim at -265 is the definition of dog or pass for me

kim is definitely NOT top 10 worst female fighters in the ufc

alexa grasso has some of the best pure boxing in WMMA and kim was able to hang with her and potentially win r1 as well

when you look at her career, she's had some really good wmma strikers like grasso, antonina shevchenko and molly mccann struggly against her on the feet and having to shoot for takedowns to beat her

I agree with you to an extent but I also don't think it's wise to overvalue your own opinion on the outcome of every fight. You should trust it and defer to it and betting a fighter that is less likely than their opponent to win has to make sense. It can't be Abdurahkimov vs Almeida that I used for an example last card.
At the same time most fights aren't like that, a majority of fights are actually between combatants who could both win given the right circumstances, imo. Finding +EV is where the odds heavilly tilt the numbers in your favor on those occasions, as best you can estimate it. It's also wise practice to have a decently sized margin of error so that even if your estimation is off you'd still get +EV unless your estimation turns out to be way off.

@duck Kim isn’t good but she’s nowhere near the worst. Remember, she should technically be on a 1 fight losing streak. She got robbed against zombie girl and then she took a short notice fight up a weight class against a HUGE bantamweight in her last fight. Her L streak is not nearly as bad as it looks

My biggest issue with Kim is that she is so passive in the way she fights. I know she has range on her opponent usually and that she is decent at staying at that range and trading but she's just not willing to pressure or change her pace much at all, it's the same slow steady progress all the time. I think if she took some risks in the right spots she could be way more succesful but she just lack that killer instinct, I never se her switch it on.

@gilese I would label kim as someone who is super talented, but struggles to put it all together. She’s got one of the longest reaches for a woman in the ufc and hardly uses it to her advantage. Also her fight iq in general is just questionable

It's hard for me to back someone like her even though I think I've done it at some point. Her look is just so bad for the judges, she looks like she is getting bullied at times just because of her demeanor, I think that's what fooled the judges vs Cachoeira.
Even though it shouldn't, body language and aggression leaves a positive impact on scoring and Kim will never have that on her side.

Agree. However bohm is just **** everywhere. She made lipski look like a world beater and then lost to Victoria leonardo. I don’t think she really has anything for Kim’s striking

I know you like to talk **** about my gambiling, But I put $100 in my account and I got $130 in my account nowadays,  I’m up in a game where it good to lose your money slower, 

I made a bit of money on Ismael Bonfim 2nd/3rd ko at +700 last card becuase I know Terrance was gonna gas, I would have 155 in my accont if anyone cared about Murphy safety becuase I had Andrade by Ko, I trust good women fighter like Andrade, they’re the only ones I bet at chalk

Beterbiev is a God, getting a little old but he could probably win a belt at Cruiser if he wanted, seriously an amazing boxer. Canelo brought in Gvozdyk to help prepare for Bivol and the word was Gvozdyk beat him up in sparring so much Gvozdyk thought about unretiring, Beterbiev was the guy who beat Gvozdyk into retirement...He has otherworldly power and quite the amateur pedigree. Yarde is fine, hard hitter and all but nothing outside a punchers chance unless Beterbiev got old overnight. Biev is a top 10-15 p4p boxer easy and only real threat to Bivol at 175lbs.

Beterbiev by murder, only guy that would make me think twice picking Beterbiev is Bivol

that card also has a bunch of elite uk prospects on it, specifically the Itauma/Frankham brothers

For whatever it's worth, Beterbiev had a pretty real rivalry with Usyk in the amateurs and actually has a win over him and in the bout he lost looked good and rocked Usyk. Ex Soviet part of the world is the highest level in amateur boxing. Beterbiev also beat Kovalev in the amateurs. Dudes a literal killer.

Usyk fighting at heavyweight without still having been rocked really puts how hard Beterbiev and Gassiev hit into perspective, and even then Gassiev only momentarily rocked Usyk without actually dropping him
