Still 50/50 on picking bilder or young. Initially picked bilder but I feel like young has a good chance

After tonight's disaster from both the UFC and Bellator, I won't be watching any fights on this card except the 3 main ones.

Had a bad card after a while on the UFC Road to ****.
I bet no one in Asia ever watches the UFC again and lucky Chris Tognoni wasn't physically in Korea or they would have paraded him naked in the streets while throwing poo at him. Moron.
Hopefully will get back to normal service on this card.
Just waiting for Mezzors picks.

Please don't talk about Makhachev being a lock on this card, I beg you. I'd feel way more comfortable if you picked Volk. He could be your lock of the year? I have way too much money on this

Makhachev vs. Volkanovski
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
Definitely a controversial choice. And I won't even lie, picking Makhachev makes sense and it's very much warranted. But I can't see Volk losing any time soon. I just can't picture it. I get major pre-2018 JBJ vibes from current Volkanovski and I just can't wrap my head around him losing. He tends to make a way to win where there shouldn't be, if that makes sense. Now if Islam can grab a hold of him and toss him immediately, it'll probably go how most of us expect it to; but with Volk's lateral movement, that's definitely not a given and I don't suspect that Islam will be able to grab a hold of him as easily as some people make out that he will, much less toss his short and stocky stature right away. I think Alex can piece him up for a good 3/4 rounds - enough to sway the judges in his favor.
Rodriguez vs. Emmett
Josh Emmett, TKO, R2
Another controversial one, but I don't think this will be as surprising if it happens. Yair did do well against Max indeed, but I simply haven't seen him find success against short, explosive guys enough times for me to back him against a powerhouse like Josh. Besides, even if Emmett didn't deserve that win over Kattar, that fight at the very least showed that Emmett can find the chin on guys of bigger, lankier statures multiple times. Should be a scrap though.
Brown vs. Maddalena
Jack Della Maddalena, TKO, R2
Don't normally back the hype on many guys but Jack's a future champ if there is one right now.
Culibao vs. Baghdasaryan
Melsik Baghdasaryan, DEC
Melsik should pick Culibao apart, I believe. He's technically consistent; Culibao can get sloppy sometimes.

I love JDM one of my favourite fighters but I can't agree more, this matchmaking is really good imo and a good test for JDM. I can even see Randy winning

I'm not betting JDM at all. I think this fight is going to be a litmus test of how adaptable he is in uncomfortable situations. But I'm almost positive he'll be able to find a way to plant down and land body shots at some point.

personally I think it comes down to how good of a boxer jdm actually is and how well versed he is in managing distance and making reads in real time
IMO against randy brown boxing is stylistically one of the worst foundations you can have since it doesn't expose by far the 2 biggest weaknesses brown has, the inability to defend leg kicks and the inability to defend takedowns/scramble out of disadvantageous positions on the ground. if it turns out JDM's boxing, range management and fight IQ are elite while also having decent enough grappling to be able to keep brown humble and thoughtful of the clinch/takedown threat, he should be able to transcend the stylistic hurdles that present themselves and win
