So happy for that poor Bukauskas, who is back in the UFC where he belongs after two nice wins in Cage warriors ! On his previous UFC run, he was very unlucky following his win over Michailidis, as he faced one of the more promising young dude of the the division in Jimmy Crute, then had a very close split decision loss against tough customer Oleksiejczuk, and finally had his knee completely destroyed against brutal Khalil Rountree in one of the most disturbing finish I can recall. I though his career was over that night, and he had the most stoic and mature behaviour after that, saying that his opponent shouldn't feel bad about it and that it's the danger of fighting. He made me a fan with that attitude, and I'm sure his second stint at the promotion will be a better one. That being said, Tyson Pedro might be a tough welcome back for him...

Will be very interesting to see what happens after this interim fight and Holloway/Allen. Both Topuria and Evloev are biting at the heels of everyone in the top 5.

I hope Volk wins so bad, if he can survive on the ground I think he could TKO Islam fairly easily, his striking is lightyears ahead of Islam.

Before I got back into the UFC during the summer of 2020, I was a fan during 2015/2016. I saw Yair fight and I said that he'd be a future champion one day and now is that time. I do think Yair will win this fight, outstriking Emmett and putting on a clinic, but even if I didn't, I would've picked him anyways. Excited to see if my years long predictions comes to fruition.
Tafa vs. Porter

Tafa will grind out a sloppy slugfest decision, barely.
Crute vs. Menifield

Crute should bounce back from his skid with a submission win, Alonzo's ground game is not that good.
Brown vs. Maddalena

JDM is a future champion, first round knockout incoming.
Jenkins vs. Shainis

I'm really high on Jenkins and I think he'll be a serious contender someday. Shainis is not very good so this should be a layup for Jenkins.
Culibao vs. Baghdasaryan
Melsik Baghdasaryan, TKO, R2
Baghdasaryan is an incredible striker, Culibao is good but Baghdasaryan is a level above him in the striking department.
Rodrigues vs. Ross
Kleydson Rodrigues, TKO, R1
Kleydson is a problem, Ross is solid but I don't like this matchup for him whatsoever.
Lookboonmee vs. Reed
Loma Lookboonmee, DEC
Loma should outstrike Reed on the feet pretty easily, I don't see a path to victory for Elise unless she gets a one punch KO.
Bilder vs. Young
Blake Bilder, DEC
Shane Young just isn't very good, Bilder should dominate him on the ground and win an easy decision.
Mullarkey vs. Prado
Francisco Prado, DEC
Mullarkey is very fluky, he looked like a world beater against Devonte Smith, but then almost lost to Michael Johnson. I think Prado will capitalize on Mullarkey's weakness' and grind out a shocking dominant decision.
Tukhugov vs. Brenner
Zubaira Tukhugov, TKO, R1
Tukhugov will handily outstrike Brenner on short notice and find a finish doing so.
Pedro vs. Bukauskas
Modestas Bukauskas, TKO, R1
Bukauskas shocks everyone by KOing Pedro quickly, Pedro has only beaten bums since his long layoff and I think he gets caught here.

I think Bilder is decent for being a late blooming, 32 year old fighter and Shannon Ross is just bad.
