Yeah idk what that was about neither of these guys is a hype train, despite Volk taking the shine he definitely is the best all around MMA fighter and Islam beating him is a big achievement no matter of public opinion, wouldn't call Islam pfp#1 but he's definitely one of the best fighters on the roster

Volks stock has only gone up. I think he’s p4p. I think he is the best mma fighter we have ever seen. 
I think the 48-47 Islam scorecard is the right one. But his stock went down. And I am looking forward to Beneil and him.

The LW division could be looked at as more interesting after this fight.
But this is definitely one of those before and after moments for both fighters, and Volk can defend his title against Pantera and Arnold (if he wins) and then maybe another one and then call it the best career in mma history.

Volk lost, get over it people. 3 rounds easy. He's lucky he didn't get finished. You can't be p4p best if you lose to a guy one division up.

Islam getting pummeled like that in the last seconds was a very bad look. The stats are very close too. I think Volk would beat any other lightweight
