There's plenty of reasons why

Like government, land, health, crowded area, hot area, dumb people here. Just to name a few

Mma fighters are severely underpaid. 10k to show isn’t really good but the thing that makes it worse it that they will only leave with like half that because of taxes, paying for coaches etc. Jared Cannonier talked about it

Maybe not half but they won’t be getting what deserve for their hard work

cannonier has a weird ufc run. so him being on a budget contract makes sense to me

Still though. A top 5 ranked fighter in any weight class shouldn’t be having to worry about finances

Bro I like you, but you are clearly wrong and very naive about this. I keep forgetting you are only 18 and don't really understand how things work. Though when you are 18 you definitely think you have all the answers, but you have to get to the stage me, Andrew and Bananas are at to actually know everything. 

Firstly, fighter pay is appalling, even without factoring in taxes and expenses including medical, which in the first world paradise that is America, that is not covered by the government. Strange system for the land of opportunity and excess.

Secondly, the UFC has no intention of ever increasing fighter pay, you see what happens when the very lucky few fighters finally make money (Eg. Masvidal, Covington, Ngannou etc..). They stop fighting. And the UFC which now needs 10 fights per card at about 46 cards a year, this does not work. Hence the influx of low wage, ready to fight fighters from DWCS, CW, Russia, Brazil etc. The UFC wants bodies to fight. That's it. It's simple economics. And they get paid **** to do it. The best analogy I can give is outsourcing of work (Eg. Customer service, production, CGI graphic and IT work) to cheap labour countries who will do the same job for less.

Also if you are a fighter (you have actually said this yourself), the aim is to get a UFC contract in the very unlikely hope that you will become a mega star (more likely you are going to get your ass kicked by a low wage bearded Russian killer). But still the hope is there, and what you have trained for your whole life. 

And then the UFC offers you a 10/10k contract for your first 4 fights. You would say no? You wouldn't sign? After you finally have that one shot at glory in sight?

Cmon, don't blame the fighters for signing anything at that point to get into the UFC and chase their dreams. Don't be that disrespectful. Especially knowing that for most the dream becomes a nightmare. Have some empathy. 

And **** the UFC, ESPN, DISNEY and ENDEAVOUR. They are making money by exploiting this. 100% and if you deny that you are just stupid.

They are also exploiting their fans and paying audience with low budget cards, womens MMA, staggered exorbitant price increases and giving a damn about the quality of scoring and judging. The only thing they care about is rigged betting because their major sponsor is Draft Kings.

At the end of the day it's all about the money.

One thing you can count on is for her to grapple, where Priscilla is pretty much completely helpless. Howevrr, she has to make weight first and even if she does, she will probably gas out and get ko’ed. will switch my pick if she looks bad on the scales
