Agreed. That's why I'm struggling to even think of someone they can give him to build him up let alone more than one fighter unless they bring in regional random guys who are 4-0 type guys that only beat 3-10 type record fighters.

If they signed Cortes-Acosta and Pogues surely they can sign Pauga, but I wouldn't sign any of them if the decision was up to me. Any of them could beat Mo and Vanderaa.

I think sadly he gets left to the curb. He’s 34 so not gonna bring much to the table. It sucks he lost cuz I thought he would be a good addition to the 205 division

This was the most backwards episode of Contender Series that we will likely ever see. Bo went in and absolutely dominated and their excuse for not signing him was that he doesn’t have enough experience. Is the premise of the show not to win and earn a contract in the UFC? Why invite him on the show then if you’ve already decided he doesn’t have the experience? Poor dude just got scammed into having to fight on the Contender Series again. Meanwhile, Jamal Pogues, who looked awful and couldn’t put away a much smaller opponent, gets a contract because he cried lol. What happened to that fiery speech from week 1 of the show, Dana? It would never happen, but if Bellator came in and offered Bo a ridiculous contract I would die of laughter.

Maybe they are angling to put him of the Ultima show free training and semi pro experience would be good.

He knew it would be a showcase just like Greg Hardy. He gets great exposure from being on the show twice. Bo and his team likely met and had an agreement before hand because they dont want him in a rival promotion and Bo wants to fight amongst the best. Jamal got a contract because the heavy divisions are thin and thats it. Calm down.

Point is half the time Dana contradicts the **** he's always shouting about. He says all that matter is your performance on the night. So saying a guy doesn't have enough experience or signing a guy cause the weightcalss is thin are both against that concept and make him look like a liar

His manager literally said he’s going to be in the ufc. This is just a method of getting him fights in rapid succession. I don’t see the problem; he’s literally fighting next month and then will make his ufc debut probably next year. Not the end of the world

Thanks bro!  It was the perfect fight for us.  Clayton had a rough first round where Chairez peaked but that big weight cut by Chairez combined with the pace and damage chewed him up.  Chairez steadily faded while Carpenter adapted & built momentum. This fight actually gives him & his camp things to work on.  He’s only going to get better from this fight!

I have no idea who anyone is talking too since "bro" isn't a good indicator of that. My character arc is going from @ hater to using @ and being neutral to loving @ because it makes life easier.

Do you guys really think Bo will run off to Bellator or PFL cause Dana offered him another step up fight? 

If you were watching closely last night, Hunter Campbell was having a conversation with Bo after they announced their decision. Bo Nickal is a potential cash cow for the UFC, he is a guy worth investing in long-term. Bo is going to be in the UFC before the end of the year and will most likely fight someone ranked in 2023. Settle down, they didn't "scam" him, they are giving him preferred treatment if anything.

Literally just read that Bo has already been signed for a while but not on the main roster. So the contender series is literally just a platform for him to get a little mire experience.

His manager did an interview with John Morgan after the fight and said he’s basically in the ufc. I’m pretty sure 1. He’s getting paid a solid amount of money and 2. He seems dead set on ufc and nothing else; I’m pretty sure he won’t go to a B league just because they offer more money. He seems like he genuinely wants to be ufc champion and nowhere else

It pretty crazy to snub Bo Nickle and sign Shannon Ross, Bo Nickle won in a minute, How can you be more impresive than that, Shannon Ross got dropped 3 times in his fight, And got slept, UFC signing is weird, What the point of having him on the show, If you not going to sign him, No matter what happens

First of all, Bo's 2 opponents were not very good, so yeah he smoked them but that doesn't really tell you how good he is. I think they should match him up against an Aaron Jeffrey type in his next DWCS fight. Even though he's clearly a beast, if he can run through a respectable opponent, he can probably negotiate for a better contract once he eventually signs.

@random knowledge Bo definitely hasn’t signed with the UFC. Wherever you read that was incorrect. 

@ZoomerBet No, nobody actually believes that Bo will sign with Bellator or PFL. He has been adamant that he wants to fight in the UFC against the best for a while now. The idea of Dana’s plan backfiring and him losing out on a fighter like Bo is the joke. And make no mistake, they are not giving him preferred treatment here. They are delaying his contract negotiation process by a fight and making him do it again for another $10k payday. They’re using his likeliness to draw more attention to Contender Series. He put on the best performance of the night on a show where your record and history are supposed to mean nothing and you’re supposed to go out and get a finish. The amount of contradictions by the UFC surrounding this topic is astonishing.
