Within minutes of this "unexpected change" to the card we have a new poster with Tony/Nate as the headliner.
Lol this is so set up and obvious.
This was planned from the start.

Nate Diaz, TKO, R4
Fan Favorite fight that will end with Ferguson getting overwhelmed by the dude who run just ran a triathlon not too long ago. Diaz will land +100 significant strikes before the fall.
Chimaev vs. Holland
Khamzat Chimaev, SUB, R3
The Chechen Gangster has become a weird Pandora's Box monster that was bred from Khabib smashing Mcgregor. He has the strength and wrestling of Khabib, but the ego and arrogance of Conor. He should win easily, the weigh-in fail looked more like arrogance than medical issue. Holland's TDD... womp womp...
Li vs. Rodriguez
Daniel Rodriguez, DEC
Daniel Rodriguez's striking output is pretty insane. Li is a great precise striker that uses it to break the distance and rush a takedown. Rodriquez will feel the pressure for the first 1-1.5 rounds of the fight, but he will be drop Li at least one time and steal the momentum to take the decision.
Aldana vs. Chiasson
Irene Aldana, DEC
Aldana will put on the pace and Chiasson will match it up. I think it's a tossup, but I like Aldana output and scrambles better.
Walker vs. Cutelaba
Ion Cutelaba, DEC
Two fighters who have been bitten on the ass OVER AND OVER due to their arrogance. One likes to act like a Brazillian Goofy, the other a green Marvel Hero. Both have a lot of finishes, but I have a feeling these guys are starting to get worried about losing. Most Pensive/Passive fight of the night potential.
Dawodu vs. Erosa
Hakeem Dawodu, TKO, R1
The UFC Analyst Table commented on the fact that this is Erosa's 3rd time back in the UFC after getting booted twice. Talk about back-handed complements. He's on a good run, but Dawodu is overdue for a KO against a guy who has been KO'd a handful of times.
Almeida vs. Turkalj
Jailton Almeida, SUB, R1
Almeida is going to get this fight on the ground in less than 2 minutes. He might not end up on top right away, but he'll find a way and get on top of the awkward Pleasure Man. Cue the John Mellencamp and watch Jailton Almeida hurt Anton Turkalj so good from half-guard/mount until he gets the sub.
Pickett vs. Tiuliulin
Jamie Pickett, DEC
Jamie Pickett gets the takedowns or he'll revert to fist-to-face technique until he goes to sleep. I'm betting on the former technique being enough to win.
Collier vs. Barnett
Jake Collier, TKO, R2
Jake Collier wins one loses wins one loses one.... etc. He lost his last fight and his opponent couldn't make the heavyweight limit at 5' 9''. Sounds like an obvious softball pitch.
Dumont vs. Wolf
Norma Dumont, DEC
Dumont just needs to land 1-2 takedowns to win. She should know that. She will not go for these takedowns until the 2nd half of rd 2 and rd 3. It's going to be a boxing match with a few kicks here and there. Dumont's corner is going to have a heart attack.
Anheliger vs. Alateng
Chad Anheliger, DEC
Angeliger is literally going to try to wear out Alateng with pressure and is going to absorb more damage than it'll be worth before he realizes he needs to switch the plan up to spam takedowns. Anheliger also doesn't seem to have any takedown defense, but can scramble out of the bottom position pretty well. I could see the fight going either way, but the Monster will have a bigger heart.
Reed vs. Martinez
Melissa Martinez, DEC
This is the fight no one knows about and no one will after the fact. Elise Reed is such a slow striker who never goes for a takedown. Melissa Martinez is a slightly faster striker, with very little power when fighting higher level opponents. My bet is on the girl that will land maybe 10 more strikes overall, but I would never put money on it.
Weeks vs. Lainesse
Darian Weeks, TKO, R3
Darian Weeks is on a losing skid already, but has a pretty aggressive wrestling game and can change levels well. Yohan Lainesse's striking can be somewhat slow at times and I imagine Darian Weeks will figure out the timing and possibly shoot 2-3 takedowns per round with over 50% success rate. 3 rounds on the ground will leave Lainesse tired and open to ground and pound.

Khamzat is clearly a 185er who usually *can* make 170. Not a natural 170er. I'm not surprised it's a hard weight cut.

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 475 Points | Tied for 1622nd
Nate was 171 and Khamzat was 178.5.
Li is facing an even larger weight discrepancy, than Nate would've been, he's really getting the short end of the stick here.

Tony Ferguson, TKO, R4
A great back and forth battle and Tony finished Nate late in this one due to some ground n pound elbows in a blood bath
Chimaev vs. Holland
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R1
Chimaev makes easy work of holland, throws him to the mat and gets in a top position and ends holland night very quickly

Jingliang Li, TKO, R2
Li is at disadvantage with the 10 lb difference but doesn’t bother him find a quick KO and pulls this one off leaving Drod unconscious on the mat

Irene Aldana, TKO, R3
Aldana dominates finds herself in mount in the 3rd and gets Chiasson out of there due to to un defended strikes

Good scrap the extra weight for Dawodu gives him the edge and a split decision victory over Erosa

Yohan Lainesse, DEC
Lainesse comes close to finishing weeks but ultimately gets the 29-28 dec victory
