Josh Emmett I think may become Feather Weight Champion if he puts fighting tools/his fighting tools together even wiser and greater.if he camouflages his power punching explosive style with different attacks/different styles then I see him knocking out other top guys or dropping em down on the Matt.💥🍕🍺🍻🍺💯💯💯

Colourful Characters? Or just a ********?

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 2340th

Baldy Fish, I like you mate but I don't get why you think these forums are better with "colourful characters" who are in fact complete ********s who spew abuse and contribute nothing else.
I do agree that a forum is better with different opinions from people with different beliefs and backgrounds but little kids spamming abuse( I always assume these types are 12 yrs old) I can do without and I'm almost certain most people agree with me on this one

@Mikey often there's no meaningful distinction between a colourful character and a ********. The angry Frenchman is great. Angry people are funny. Every time he posts some vulgarity-rich ad-hominem-infested diatribe, I hear it in the voice of the character at the end of this simpsons episode.

get back on point, what isn't funny, interesting, or entertaining is the litany of banal, limp-**** dittoheads on these boards who parse information through an 'is this an acceptable thing to say?' filter. They're not saying what they really think. They're saying what they think it's acceptable to say. Honestly? They make me want to blow my lunch. They are the living dead living a living death that precedes the literal kind. They are consensus-lemmings. The microplastic- pacific-trash-island of not only this site, but every site in existence, and frankly it is my hope that they are somehow expunged from the human race entirely.

Anyone who is the sort of person who is afraid to offend people online, or finds themselves moderating what they post out of fear of incurring the wrath of the idiot herd--being a karma addicted-zombie afraid of downdoots (oh noes!) not only doesn't deserve my respect or attention. They don't deserve a life at all.

I would take a dozen Tabernakks over a single big fat Stu (who in terms cubic space is very likely actually equal to a dozen Tabernakks IRL) Fisty, or cheese any day of the week. Not because I agree with what he says, or thinks. I don't. I don't even find it especially interesting nor creative. He's telling people that they eat bags of *****. Not exactly Dostoevsky. But because his existence is antithetical to the hivemind. In a sense, he is proof that freedom exists. It isn't his content I respect. It is his spirit. Whether he is authentically himself, or is just otherwise trolling. He says what he says knowing what it will get him. That is enough.

You've never really understood this Mikey. Do you really think, for example, that I hold any genuine enmity or misogyny towards any of the women I scandalise, denigrate or vilify in way of satirical WMMA breakdown posts on these boards? Of course not! That's not what it's about. It's not even just about giving people a laugh. It's about sending a big greasy **** you to the somnamnbulant NPC's who are too pathetic and/or ******** to handle it, and being so, want to police the world for those of us who aren't.

You see, the only thing worse than being exposed to things you don't want to hear or agree with is a world in which being exposed to those things no longer exists. This is in fact the way the world is heading, currently. I will not contribute to the ushering-in thereof. I will die on this hill.

Finally, you need to stop imagining that there is a shred of nobility or decency in anything any of us do here. Being polite on these boards, or politically correct, does not change nor alter the fact that we're all here to watch people get locked in cages and get brain damage. That's what this is, and you and I and everybody else are pieces of **** for supporting it. If the 'sport' was changed in such a way as to make this no longer the case, we would no longer participate in it as consumers. We're only very slightly better than people who turn up to watch bullfighting or ****fighting. We are witting benefactors of bloodsports that are immoral, barbaric and obscene. There may be honour and nobility in competing in them. But there is not a jot of those things in consuming them. We are, quite simply, bloodthirsty ******* scum.

There's your answer.

48-47 Kattar IMO

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 2 Perfect, 475 Points   |   Tied for 1850th

I can see Emmett winning rounds 1-3 and Kattar 4-5. But Chris Lee scored R4 for Emmett which is a terrible score, that was Kattar's best round. Emmett 48-47 is not a bad score but Giving Emmett R4 is not possible based on the way other rounds were scored.

I personally scored R1: Emmett, R2: Kattar, R3: Emmett, R4: Kattar, R5: Kattar

I think Chris Lee giving Emmett the forth might be the worst round robbery of the year, That corruption, Anyone who watch the fight know Katter won that round, 41 to 21 sig strikes and 35 to 13 sig head strikes, Also the spinning elbow witch was the most impactful strike in the fight, also 97% of people score that round for Katter on MMA decsion, So pretty much everyone is in agreement in this,

I forgot to add, I don't come to Tapology for the stimulating conversations. There's about 5 people on this entire site who actually have anything interesting or compelling to say about MMA bouts. 99% of what is posted here is absolute dreck. If I'm going to have to read puerile ********, it might as well be entertaining.

The vast majority of back-and-forth discussions pertaining to bouts on Tapology basically read like this:

I gave myself a few days to think about it and I'm definitely putting this card somewhere in the T3 best cards of the year. I didn't want to post it the night of because I've done that a few times and regretted it later. But this card exceeded expectations I'd even have for a UFC PPV card. big thanks to all the fighters that made it happen

Great card no doubt judges will always be the weak link in any scored sport.
But PFL smart cage is as bad or worse so computer scoring would be bad.
Be way more dominant or go for finishes or just be ok with bad decisions.
