Did it occur to you people to actually watch some tape, look at his stats? You do realise he's gone to split four times out of seven fights, right? He's KO'ed one opponent who was a debutante guppy feed. He's low output. He's beaten nobody good. Klien has better hands than Dawodu. In fact I'd argue he's a better striker, he's just dumb as **** and can't put it together.
Trizano has one loss to a very strong wrestler in Dawson. Trizano has never looked like losing to striker, which is what Dawodu is.
You seem to think Dawodu is some kind of massive KO prospect but nothing about his numbers suggests this is the case. The emperor truly has no clothes, people. Trizano has never been KO'ed. He has one sub loss, again, to Dawson. He looked hugely improved against Klein and did everything right.

That doesn't mean he's beating Trizano.

trizano has 2 splits then got mauled and won another close decision against a busted prospect. you cant talk about hakeem winning close fights when all trizanos ufc wins were close. oh and to say hakeem has beat nobody is crazy to say. Julio Arce, Zubaira Tukhugov, and Mike Mallot are all legit wins and all of those wins are more impressive than who trizano beat lmao.
another thing, just because you get a quick ko over a dude who is barely in the ufc dosent mean you are a great striker. hes a good technical striker for 1 round then he falls off a cliff. he even lost to landwehr by finsh another guy who is just barely keeping his job.

I could be ********.
I might retract my wagering league bet purely on the basis Trizano has fought 2 guys in 4 years. I don't like betting guys with schedules like that.
No way I'd lay anything on Hakeem though.

Sean Strickland, DEC
Strickland's solid takedown defense and relentless boxing pressure should be plenty to carry him to a win here. A late tko wouldn't surprise me but a decision seems most likely
Soriano vs. Maximov
Punahele Soriano, TKO, R1
Maximov's takedowns are lazy and obvious lunges, Soriano is going to shuck him off and absolutely **** him up. I was sure Brundage was going to KO him when I was watching that last fight and that was on short notice.
Rakhmonov vs. Harris
Shavkat Rakhmonov, SUB, R2
holy ****, what sacrifices have we made to the MMA gods to deserve this embarrassment of riches?
Alvey vs. Hawes
Phil Hawes, TKO, R2
Alvey hasn't been UFC caliber for 4 years, why is he still here?
Erosa vs. Peterson
Julian Erosa, SUB, R2
I think Peterson is a step down from Jourdain, but he's so exciting to watch that's not a complaint
Davis vs. Stoliarenko
Alexis Davis, DEC
ugh
Gordon vs. Bondar
Denys Bondar, SUB, R1
maybe my most confident pick, which is disconcerting since it's the curtain jerker.

I've watched tape on both these guys now, and I'm taking battle with no confidence. Despite what people are saying about him in this thread, Gore isn't good. Battle isn't either but he throws more and has better cardio. I know people are going to dispute that because he's breathing and sweating harder than Fisty walking past a kindergarten by the start of round 2, but he's like a **** version of Guida and somehow seems to keep slinging hard and grappling even though he looks exhausted. Gore is low volume and is a really **** version of Geoff Neal minus the boxing. Has really great leg kicks but poor hand speed and routine combinations. He does have TD's and will go for subs but he's got bad situational awareness on the floor, and I've seen him get reversed by cans. I don't trust him not to burn out in a dogfight, and I don't see him stopping Battle. It's probably going to be a messy fight that goes to dec. Battle is more likely to get the nod.
