Alright folks,

As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site.

So here's a place to talk boxing.

Speaking of Hancho

I've seen some of you post about Japanese boxing comic (Manga?) Hajime Ippo.
Hancho newest video is about "Real Life Hajime Ippo moments"
As per usual, its a good video that you are likely to learn at least something

Cheese, if you like the soundtrack to Hancho videos he has posted compilations of all the tracks he's used.
They are on his YouTube channel

Bams Back!!!

Quick return for the new hottest prospect in boxing (not really a prospect now but he is only 22 with less than 20 fights)
He has been put on the Canelo GGG 3 card, I think as Co Main? Maybe another fight will be co main (I'm hearing Heavyweight Hrgovic vs Zhang is gonna be on that card or Joshua Usyk)
Whatever, I'm happy to see more of Bam!!! To be totally honest I was hoping for a better opponent, not that Gonzalez is bad, he's actually decent, but I wss hoping for a move down to Flyweight (as his coach Robert Diaz said he wanted) vs the Champions Nakatani, Edwards or El Rey Martinez.
Still I am happy to see him fight and staying very active, his 3rd fight in just over 6 months. Extremely active for a modern boxer

@Mikey1903

I could be completely wrong in my assessment but it seems to me that boxers in the lighter weight classes generally are more active for some reason. Could be wrong but it just seems like whenever I've looked over the records of lighter fighters, it's not unusual to see some still relatively young (early - mid 30's) guys with 40+ fights, especially for Asian boxers.

The smaller divisions don't have the general audiences appeal so they can't sit out and build up big money fights, they have no choice but to be workers. What Bam's doing is very unique to him though he's having an incredible year.

Benn Eubank (JUNIOR vs Junior!!)

I've heard more than 1 person claim that Connor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr. is pretty much a done deal!!!

I'm not sure what to think about that fight. I mean it's definitely a big British fight. But Benn is a Welterweight, Eubank is a big Middleweight, is very comfortable at Super Middle! Why the **** is he wanting to fight guys a stone or more lighter than him???!!!  I've never really been on board the Connor Benn hype train (even though his dad Nigel is 1 of my all time favourites!) but if this fight does actually happen I am team Benn all day!!!! Hope he knocks Eubank the **** out!!!!!

Well, it can't be worse than the time Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier's daughters fought each other.

I didn't want to be the guy to bring up Jake Paul so glad you did it.

Is Rahman Jr. worth a damn? Sorry for the ignorance but I'll tune in if he has an actual chance.

I'm not a boxer so I can't tell how good his technique is but I can give my opinion on his level of opposition. The good news is that he's a real boxer who's 12-1 (Jakes first non 0-0 opponent) and he's had multiple amateur fights. The bad news is his pro opposition isn't all that great and his amateur record (according to boxrec at least) isn't that pretty. I don't really think you have to be some world beater to beat Jake though so this should be completive.

Yeah, there is a reason Jakey is so u unbothered to face him on short notice. Also, the Bookies have Paul as 2 to 1 favourite, Bookies aren't always right of course, but they usually know how to price a fight accurately.

I say all this but I am still hoping that Rahman can channel his father vs Lewis 1 for 1 night only!!!!

For comparison, who wins in a Hasim Rahman Jr. VS Tommy Fury fight?

Who do you think wins Diaz or Paul? I will pick Diaz but they may try to make it an 8 rounder Diaz would prefer 10 at least im sure
