Alright folks, 

As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site. 

So here's a place to talk boxing. 

Some people say that as an insult, Scotland full of Alkies and Junkies. For me, I say We are World Champions of Alcohol, Herion, Cocaine, Heart Disease, Fat Food Consumption (actually USA has that in the bag) Oh and don't forget all the stabbings!!!
We are no 1 baby!!!! 

I've said it before but for a tiny country we have contributed a lot.
Electricity for one! The TV, the Telephone, the Steam Engine!

Like watching Josh Taylor lose his last fight, but get a pity decison because the judges felt bad for him getting his arse kick so bad

Watching Scottish people losses is so much more fun

Eh no, just a ****** Harbour pub. Full of fisherman, guys who worked at the docks, soccer casuals and the occasional prostitute.
The bar manager was a bit of a character, there is some Danny Dyer Uks Hardest Bravo TV show that on YouTube.
Pretty embarrassing to be honest!

Didn't we learn with Frank Gore vs Williams? **** is not even funny anymore, just basically scamming people to watch amateur boxing for some $$$.

Frank Gore did get a pretty nice ko in his last fight.

Didn't even know Frank Gore fought again, gonna have to look that up.

Jai Opetaia underwent surgery for two fractures in his jaw, sugery was a success, after his fight with Briedis. 

It's easy to forget once everything has settled and both boxers have finished their career just what the narrative and build up looked like going into their fight, and how completely off it all was. A perfect example of this being the first fight between Marco Antonio Barrera vs Manny Pacquaio. 

Manny was hot after his shocking upset win over the African Super-Bantamweight Champion Lehlo Ledwaba and with a string of title defenses he felt it time to move up, partly because he was outgrewing the division, and saw an opportunity to challenege the Ring's Featherweight Champion and p4p #3 ranked fighter in the world, Marco Anonio Barrera. While Manny had a good win in Ledwaba it paled in comparsion to the incredible streak Barrera was on which included defeating 3 would be Hall of Famers in Prince Naseem, Érik Morales and Johnny Tapia. 

With Manny moving up and Barrera already establishing himself in the Featherweight division, their level of competition, and momentum Barrera had secured with such career defining wins this was supposed to be a easy night for the Mexican superstar, and as such Manny entered this fight a 4/1 underdog. This was the last time Manny ever saw odds that wide when being the underdog. 

I am gonna order some more Scottish salmon oil for my dog soon, way better than this German salmon oil I have now... Well they are both good but the Scottish seems better quality if you had to choose

I'd never heard of Conor McGregor before but judging by his BoxRec page, it seems like he was just another typical one and done boxer.

He seems like a fairly obscure boxer so that was probably the only picture they could find of him lol! Either that or it was a deliberate middle finger to the MMA community.

Tapology profile pics for fighters are far better. Actually gives guys personality. Like look at Mr Finland the chad 

Definitely a "**** you" to the MMA community. 

I spend quite a lot of time looking for cool pics for Tapology. 
I have also added a few for MMA guys. Shevchenko kicking Eye in the head, Nate Diaz slapping Mcgregor, Masvidal flying knee vs Askren and Jones dropping Machidas lifeless body like a sack of potatoes are some of my favourites that I've added
