Alright folks, 

As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site. 

So here's a place to talk boxing. 

Considering there are 11 weight classes below it and only 5 above it (or 6 if you include Bridgerweight) it is in boxing lol

Seeing reports that Jake vs Tommy is scheduled for 10 rounds 👀

They should do it old school, 15 rounds style! Give the fans their money's worth!

Expecting a roll out from PBC/Showtime soon. Think it'll be Spence Thurman, Magsayo Figueroa for sure and a possibility of Inoue Fulton and Wilder Ruiz being confirmed (though Inoue Fulton will probably be announced 1st in Japan)

Since today is the birthday of Salvador Sánchez I thought I'd post some highlight videos.
In my opinion (and Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr and James Toneys if that means anything!!) Sanchez was the greatest Mexican boxer ever and 1 of the greatest fighters full stop. 
Unfortunately he tragically died in a car crash high in the Mexican mountains at the age of 23, only weeks after his greatest victory, a late stoppage (15th round!) over another legend Azumah Nelson, maybe Africas greatest ever boxer! 
Even at only 23 Sanchez still made his mark with several all time fights and a long reign as Featherweight Champion, and he was THE no. 1!!!!  
His fights vs Danny Little Red Lopez, Juan Laporte, Pat Cowdell and his massive win over Wilfredo Gomez that kicked off the famous Mexico vs Puerto Rico rivalry that is still going strong to this day!!! 

He packed in a lot in a short career, 44-1, 10 Undisputed World Title fights, Hall of Fame career, all before 23!!!!!!

He is maybe the most complete boxer I have ever seen, I wish I was able to see him in my lifetime!  Perfect placement, impeccable defence, counters, punch power, an unlimited gas tank and of course heart!!!!! 

What a Fighter!!!!

I really don’t care about that fight anymore. Hopefully its a double knockout no contest.

As entertaining as that would be to watch, that is quite possibly the absolute worst outcome possible as it would almost certainly lead to an even more ridiculously overhyped rematch.

Not news or anything but I thought this comment on Chisora's latest instagram post was funny
