Alright folks, 

As you might know I'm Tapology Boxing editor. I know the majority of you guys are here for MMA, so was I originally. But for the last year or 2 there is a little more interest in Boxing on the site. 

So here's a place to talk boxing. 

Idk Mikey.  I give it about 3 weeks before Tommy pulls out again.  Seems like Feb 14 would be about right 😉

Also I’m seeing reports that Badou Jack will be on the undercard so you got at least one solid fighter on the card

Great place for Jake Paul/influencer boxing annoucements. 

I would agree except Jake’s events are actual pro events with actual pro fights most of the time. 

Yeah I heard about Badou Jack possibly getting a title fight vs WBC Cruiserweight Champ Ilunga Makabu. 
Originally Jack was meant to be in a final eliminator with Thabiso Mchunu(who IMO beat Makabu last January). Makabu was announced as facing Noel Mikalyaen this weekend as the main event of this Don King PPV this weekend. Apparently Ole Donny didn't let Makabu know that he was meant to be headlining the show!!!! Haha 

So, I think Makabu is moving on to face Jack. It would make sense for it to end up as the Jake Paul Co Main because Jack has boxed on a few of these shows(Mayweather Paul and Mayweather vs his old pal who swept his gym(forget his name Already!) Also, if this event is in Saudi Jack is based in that region now too. 
So yeah, makes sense. 

I'm still not adding the event yet because all I've seen is a tweet from Ariel saying fights on "sources say". Now Ariel is reliable but there is no location and no word from MVP so I'm waiting a little (punching holes in walls and grinding my teeth as I wait!!!)

Oh **** me I watched the "fight" honestly he is below Alaska Semi Pro grade.
He would make Jake Paul look good this is sad.

Per Ariel Helwani, both Jake and Tommy have enrolled with VADA for their upcoming fight

Also.  Looks like Stephen Fulton and Naoya Inoue have agreed to a fight in May/June in Japan per Michael Benson

Yeah, it's a bit of a strange one. The Fulton Figueroa rematch was reported by Dan Rafael (1 of the most well known and reliable boxing reporters) and there was an article on BadLeftHook. So I assumed that it was a go. 
If we get Inoue vs Fulton instead then I'm happy. Even though I did think Fulton Figueroa 1 was an awesome fight(I actually thought Figueroa won!) and the rematch would have also been awesome! Inoue Fulton is a fight between the no1 (top 3 at least) P4P Inoue and Fulton who is either 9,10 or just on the outside of the top P4P. 
P4P fights are rare and should always be made ahead of anything else IMO 

Coppinger likes to pump fake and say things are finalized or finished when inreality their still in negotiating. I'd hold out and see if there's news from any of the promotions involed.
