Volatyle, I will downvote every post of yours I see until you take Lawler off that list. Diego Ferreira doesn't belong either.

I don't mind fighters blowing smoke. I think a certain level of self-delusion is probably necessary to compete at the highest level of MMA.

Giga got beaten up but that's not going to be the last of him. He's probably not taking the belt but he's a top 10 guy and will hang around in that echelon of competition for a good while. Plenty of excellent fights to book him in, Yair vs Giga would be a banger.

Didn't realize I didn't pick Slava Clause when I submitted my picks :(

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 769th

Oh well, my write up a few page back speaks for itself. I had him to win and he won me some nice money. Unfortunately both fighters I thought were locks (Giga and Holmes), lost.

It's all good though, cause that Jake Collier finish made up for it all and then some. Can't believe I called that guy's first finish since 2014 just because Chase Sherman is that bad. Even I didn't think he'd do it that quickly.

Decent card to kick off the new year that on paper was supposed to be much better before all the cancellations. Big props to the UFC for getting Croom and Rosa late. Those dudes are absolute savages.

I agree with all of those but Sherman should be cut. He’s been given quite a few chances and failed already

I knew Giga train was going to get wrecked at some point, but I didn't know it would be that soon. Thought Kattar doesn't have the weapons, and here we are.

Duck's thoughts on the main card

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 769th

I was at the gym for the entire main card and I just watch them after, These are my thought

I thought Calvin Katter fought a genius fight, alls respect to him, I thought Giga was just going to kick him hard and he was a lock, but Calvin pressure made Giga not able to kick as it physically impossible to do it, It turn the fight into a boxing fight mostly, I thought Giga should of stood his ground more, I think if he did he could of won, He landed 7 leg kick and throw 9, He lost because he was going backwards,

Jake Collier is fat, but I think he can beat guys at a low  level heavyweight, And I honestly enjoy watching him do so because he fat, Chase Sherman is **** and is getting cut, 3-9 in the UFC now, a 25% win rate in  the promotion, Might be the worst fighter with a long tenure in the promotion, Also happy for Collier because I don't know he mental health because he gain so much fat, It good for him to get the happinist of a win

Brandon Rovyal won the fight IMO, Everyone can agree he won the third and Bontarin won the 2nd, But I thought Rovyal won the first also, Bontarin needed to do more on top as he was a wet blanket, If he did Ground and pound or a sub, He could of stole the round, Rovyal outstuck him on the feet enough and was doing **** on bottom to win the first, Also Rovyal is so much fun, He not a fighter who win all the time, But he alway fun, We need fighter like him in the UFC

I didn't watch the Chookagian vs Maia fight and I don't think I will, I just don't care

Slava Clause was lossing the fight, I thought Dakota was outstiking him and he got a takedown or two, I want to see Dakota get a third fight over someone easy, But the body shot Slava landed was nasty, I think Slava is green, He needs more growing, But I think with growth, Slava can be a beast

Bill Algeo is really awesome, I like his style, Hands down throwing hand and taunting and being a ****y lad, Also Brito style is not good, He reminds me of Kevin Lee, Good grapling but can't kept up the grappling for a round and doesn't get finishes during it, I hope i rembeber of Bill Algeo, he real fun

I agree with you bro. I do not think Boreschev is that good, true he won with body shots just like I thought he would, but for a so called "kick boxing legend" he was getting outstruck by a wrestler and almost got KOd. I will happily fade him when he fights a better fighter. I knew this fight would be close, Bush almost won.

Still I am happy my Slava bet cashed so cannot complain!

Also rewatched the tape on Brito and was not convinced, switched my bets to Algeo and glad I did!

He won on the scorecards. Some people think he didn’t but he clearly won rounds 1 and 3. He should have won by sub cuz bontorin tapped but it wasn’t stopped

Giga Chikadze came off like a total clown this entire week.

He **** on Volkanovi and Zombie, despite those two being far superior fighters than him in the sport of MMA. He has pretty much completely discredited Kattar pre-fight, and then wound up getting ******* worked by him. And hey, losing to Kattar? There's no outright shame in that.

That being said, Chikadze did a live post-fight from the hospital with half his face cut open and talked about the win as if it was a fluke. Saying if they fought 10x, he'd only lose the 1x we saw over the weekend.

Bro. What.

If Kattar flash KO'd him in 93-seconds, sure, go off. But Chikadze got 50-44'd at the very least lmao. That's some delusional ****. Thought he was growing in MMA, thought he had tremendous potential as an MMA fighter. But nah, with this attitude, the man has probably already peaked.
