Brown should win comfortably if he doesn't get caught by Gooden's power. Brown is good at using his length and speed, he has power himself and he can keep Gooden at his range using front kicks and 1-2s. Brown can't afford to get lazy because Gooden has a lot of power in his hands, Gooden is a little wild and can get hut with shots so I do actually think Brown can eventually get the finish

dern has looked significantly improved, especially in the striking department, but i think marina is more dangerous and well rounded than any previous opponent.
Brown vs. Gooden

need to see more consistency from gooden before i pick him against someone that is getting better each time out like randy is. gooden won't have the normal range advantage he's used to. i'll say he gets stung and takes a bad shot that gets his back taken.
Elliott vs. Nicolau

always fun to watch tim make things up on the spot, guessing nicolau will come in with a wrestling heavy gameplan though and he hasn't been subbed before so i'll also guess that he can survive the odd choke attempts tim will pull out.
Agapova vs. Mazo

gotta wonder how true the agapova rumors were and if she's addressed the cardio blowouts, think i have more faith in mazo settling in after early flurries.
Gutierrez vs. Colares

don't think colares will be able to find the comeback momentum if he keeps getting chopped down at range.

"feels" like a keep-busy fight for romanov. i'd think that a tko is certainly possible, but romanov seems to opt for submissions to end fights.

not 100% sure why, but i'm not a fan of charles rosa, so i'm gonna hedge here and say that his sub defense holds up and he can win the standup? i'm okay being wrong here.

juarez actually seems to have a better list of opponents, but she's also almost 37 and has been fighting lower end competition the past few years.

100% of ontiveros' losses are via ko and 8/11 of garcia's wins are via ko, low hanging fruit but i can't resist.

This is such a hard fight to call, if it hits the mat once it's over. Dern is just so much on the ground than Marina but the thing is Dern may have a hard time trying to close the distance on Marina. Marina's striking is levels above Dern's, she's very good at fighting at her range and Dern is not gonna be able to get the takedowns if she's gonna get countered trying to close the distance. Dern's attempts at trying to close the distance are sloppy and won't work on Marina because Dern is just there to get hit whenever she throws her hands. It's such an intriguing fight but I think Marina gets the finish in this one

Gutierrez vs. Colares
I go for Chris Gutierrez at -260. He has a quirky triangle choke. Gutierrez isn't about to ruin the unthinkable. So say we all!
Godinez vs. Juárez
I appoint Lupita Godinez at -280. She has a weak double wrist lock and an accurate hane goshi. Godinez isn't about to climb the feat.
Romanov vs. Vanderaa
I elect Alexander Romanov at -675. He has a jarring mentality. Romanov must ravage the bandit.
Agapova vs. Mazo
I am sniffing Sabina Mazo at -170. She has a lame randleplex. Mazo is gonna bully the humiliating defeat.
Ontiveros vs. Garcia
I crave Steve Garcia at -335. He has an amazing kneebar. Garcia shall penetrate the performance.
Rosa vs. Jackson
I like Damon Jackson at -190. He has a maladapted lumberjack sweep. Jackson ought to elevate the adversary.

I am loyal to Mackenzie Dern at -190. She has a reliable sleeper slam. Dern ought to toss the cake.
