Anyone else getting pissed off at people saying that Lionheart is done. Where the proof beside winning the first 2 rounds against Glover, the number 1 contender and losing to Rakic by decsion, the number 1 prospect who knock out Clark . Think Smith was more overated then done, but now fans are underrating him because he a top ten guy, not a top 3  guy like a lot of people who think he’s done now was or a guy who will loss to Devon Clark. MMA fans have short term memory which I call the Ronda effect, She was the best, now that she lost twice to really high level compation in Holm and Nunes, they don’t rembeber about her really quick finish’s and call her terrible.Make good money on it

Last Fight on Takashi Sato's contract and he is fighting out his contract to get a better deal. So naturally UFC matches him up with Miguel Baeza to get his ass kicked. Any fighter who tries this get the hardest fight possible usually and becomes Paige VanZant

@xcon Of corse that happen , Geoff Neal a top ten fighter in the world still has a second job and Joakum Buckley is still working at Walgreens. If any other sport has fighters having to get a second job they be so embarrass, I'm All for no more USADA and giving the Money to the fighter, Even tho it probley go to Baldy, Because we get fighter training more and using Roids again.

P.S UFC contrack are illegal because they not Indempedent contracter if you force them to wear Uniform or drug test them

You know who Ronda came back against? ******* Amanda Nunes.

Smith fought like **** for the title, the dude didn't even try. I like him, I first saw him fight in Strikeforce against Roger Gracie. I was surprised by how many times he had been finished in his career. We know he can come back from adversity, but in most of his fights he was getting his ass handed to him and pulled a comeback.

Beating up Shogun at that age, Evans, people thought this guy was a killer, and there is no doubt about his ability to finish a fight which I highly respect, but they are really throwing him a bone here. Rakic made him look just horrible, and Rakic looked horrible doing that.

And he didn't come on the scene ripping arms off and destroying legit women's competitors, the best they could find at that time.

Sato could handle Baeza and make him look like a fool, i like the dog in that scarp that being said if Baeza was the dog I’d probably find a reason to like him

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 405 Points   |   Tied for 117th

Blaydes vs. Lewis
Curtis Blaydes, TKO, R4
With an ever-maturing game somewhat unique for a top-tier heavyweight, Blaydes' ability to keep the pressure on his opponent cannot be overlooked here. You know you're in trouble when he's got you on the canvas, and it seems inevitable that Derrick Lewis finds himself compromised in that position if this fight drags into the championship rounds.

Parisian vs. Porter
Josh Parisian, TKO, R1
No matter the outcome, this fight projects to end early, with Parisian getting the 1st round finish in 7 of his last 8 victories. As fate would have it, Porter's last three losses have come in the first (albeit one coming from DQ). Combine that with a sizable reach and height advantage for the former, and Parisian should take this one candidly.

Algeo vs. Carlyle
Spike Carlyle, DEC
Thrown into the deep end for his UFC debut against a one-team title challenger in Ricardo Lamas, Algeo turned in a valiant effort despite losing handidly on the scorecards. Carlyle on the other hand is coming off a hard-fought decision loss after three consecutive first round knockouts, setting up a sneaky good matchup that could make some noise on a card lacking significant star power.

You know, I don't know why you people think Blaydes is getting better. I have personally seen no evidence of this whatsoever. He looked like Dog **** against Volkov--who incidentally should have been a perfect style for him to merk. His performances have gotten consistently worse as he's moved up the rankings with the exception of JDS whose chin has been shot for years.

I'll probably pick him here against Lewis, but I'd never pick him against anyone better. In fact Lewis winning by KO/TKO wouldn't surprise me in the slightest and if he's north of 200+ he's definitely worth a punt.

@fishrat he’s +270 and +450 inside the distance. It’s definitely worth a punt. I already put $20 down on the inside the distance line because I love the value even tho I think Blaydes will win. Same idea as my winning kaitlen  bet last week +350 for a fight that should be +150 was free money

Predictions: 5 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 971st

Anthony Smith is 0-2 in 2020, and only won one round. That was the first round against Glover Teixeira. Anthony Smith is has taken too much damage in 2020. Take the dog, Clark +110https://www.delinquentmma.com/post/ufc-fight-night-blaydes-vs-lewis-picks

@delinquentMMA Honesly I don't like any of your bet. **** betting Curtis Blaydes at -375 because he fighting Derrick Lewis, It not a sure thing that he beat him because hes Derrick Lewis

Devin Clark at +110 it **** line  also because Anthany Smith is a way better fighter and for me to bank on Smith being Fadded it has to be atlest +200. Its a clear missmatch if Smith look good

And Spike Carlye doesn't have the Fight IQ or Cardio to make me confendent at -180,

Damn, some wild money just came in on Lewis. He (edit:Blaydes) went from -390 on my site to -300. For a shift like that to happen this close to the card there must have been a good chunk of change.
