@Kuma That was good performance from Fisher. He overcame some trouble having his back taken in rd. 1 to get back his feet and get a knockdown at the end of the round. Then, used his boxing and showed good takedown defense to win a comfortable decision (30-27 x3). He should stay at 145, at 155 he is too small to fight grinders like Norman Parke.

I watched this show and I really enjoyed it. Aveles Silva was definitively fight of the night. I am pleasantly surprised with Aveles performance. He really showed something else in this fight, specially against someone far more athletic than him. Polpudnikov had a sweet KO as well.

It was interesting seen Real Sports talk about this event in the recent episode. I did not realize this was funding buy some high-level people in chechnya.

@rappinpapsoda The real sports piece was about Kadyrov's WFCA and Akhmat fight Club, not about ACB.

If Agnaev doesn't get signed off this win, the only fight I can see for him is Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov. He's coming off an impressive victory over Jared Torgeson. At 4-0 or 5-0, Agnaev would be a great pickup for any of the major promotions.

Yeah he'd be a great signing for the UFC not just cause he has the skills and entertaining style but because he has huge potential and the division needs fighters more than any other imo (I don't consider female 145 a ufc division till it actually has some fighters)

UFC really needs to sign more light heavyweight talent, if not cultivate it themselves, but they seem indifferent to the division and like ignoring Eastern Europe despite all the talent there.
