Mayrbek Hasiev delivered its verdict on the work of judges in combat Hamzaev-Nakajima.
Mayrbek Hasiev: Unfortunately, the ACB 45 tournament also was not without unpleasant incident. We are talking about the fight against Magomed Khamzaeva representative of Japan Taichi Nakajima. In the first round, the Japanese paid a heavy blow to the liver, after which Hamzaev grabbed his groin. In fact, it was a technical knock-out, but the judge does not understand the situation and thought that really kick went wide bandgap. The battle continued, and Magomed won a unanimous decision.
Many times I have reviewed the replay, where it is obvious that shot hit the body. I immediately got in touch with Magomed and asked him to explain the situation. As a result, he admitted that deliberately grabbed his groin, to recover from the blow. In this regard, I say:
1) The victory in this battle will be given to the Japanese athlete;
2) Since Mohammed confessed to his own misconduct, any sanctions against him will not be applied;
3) We will hold a meeting with the Union of MMA action to parse the referee in this episode and decide whether he will continue to work for our organization tournaments.
In conclusion I would say that I am rather tired interfere in the actions of the judiciary, however, circumstances are such that such intervention is necessary. And if I have to, I'll do it every tournament. The ACB should all be honest. This is one of the main principles on which our league was founded, and we will stick to it always.
zurmaev_95ya think that # ASB40 also had to make a similar decision in favor Dzhanaeva)))

Z. Magomedsharipov def Valdines Silva KO/TKO, 1:53 R1 -While studying footage I saw how wild Silva is with his Wanderlei Silva style striking,a clear contrast with Mago's straight accurate punches.I really felt like Silva's biggest chance was to unload with Mago against the cage cause Mago's defense is solid and if he tried to get into a technical striking match in the middle of the cage he'd get picked apart.
It didn't even play out like that,with Mago getting the quick GNP stoppage after iirc dropping him.I have been super impressed with this guy,finishing all his fights since 2013 ,more importantly all of them were good fighters.
Oleg Borisov def Tural Ragimov KO/TKO, 0:37 R2 -Borisov,obviously built like a truck and great wrestling as really been showing some dangerous,yet wild at times,effecting hands with KO power which is evident in his last two fights.That leaping left he has is becoming kinda his thing,also his heavy overhand right he's kind of scary couple those with the threat of his powerful double and he's a handful.
U. Gadzhidaudov def A. Sarnavskiy KO/TKO, 0:44 R2 -Sarnavskiy looked pretty good the first round and just took that bomb in the second,what a punch!
Andrey Koshkin def Ramazan Esenbaev Unanimous Dec -This was one of the most intriguing ones for me.I was never overly impressed by Ramazan picked who imo is the better fighter in Koshkin,but it was concerning because Ramazan is a good wrestler and Koshkin has **** wrestling (compared to your typical high level Russian mma fighter) and he did get taken down a few times but showed some improvement there.Until he really improves it I don't see him having much/any success against the best Russian LW's because the division is chalk full of great wrestlers.
Muslim Makhmudov def Hans Stringer KO/TKO, 2:20 R1 -Didn't really know what to expect from Stringer,between inactivity and being kinda mediocre despite a good kickboxing background and a BJJ black belt.He just doesn't seem to really use all his tools or improve much even being at Blackzillions iirc.Muslim is kind of a meat and potatoes fighter,I wasn't really impressed with im in the past and iirc he kinda gave up in his last fight giving up the RNC in what seemed like to me just a way out of the fight.
I don't think there's anything great about Muslim,I think the fight showed more that Hans isn't really improving like he should,is still slow,and rarely implements his skills the way he should.Like when he positionally dominated Fabio Maldonado for idk maybe 8 minutes and then got reversed and pounded out was one of the only times I saw him implement a game and almost follow it through,then fell apart.Rarely do we see a guy on his back recieve a body shot from his opponent standing and tap in a second,not saying he's a puss,it was just unusual.
Isa Umarov vs. Malik Merad -I was leaning Umarov after he just beat Rodney Wallace who isn't the best but a real tough fight nonetheless and it showed big potential for a guy with only a few fights.Wallace was out of shape though for that fight,but a good win for sure,and those Fight Club Berkut guys have a phenomenal camp.
TBH I have never thought much of Merad,so slow,**** tdd,nothing special anywhere and spent 4:40 on his back in the first round.He was quickly put on his back again in the 2nd and after a sweep or two Isa didn't really have any answers when mounted leading to the ref stoppage.Showing that some (most are good enough in this aspect) of these bigger good wrestlers need to work on being in bad positions,since they are rarely there in practice unless doing start in mount etc drills which should always be done.Experience and toughness won this fight for Malik imo,but neither guys stock went up in my book.
Rasul Shovhalov vs. Viacheslav Ten -I didn't watch this,I just wasn't interested.I picked Lobov over Rasul (14% dog) and Zak Bucia-sub-2 for the perfect (also dog),watched some of his other fights and figured he'd win a decision over Ten,but not really a guy i'll keep my eye on.
Murad Kalamov vs. Denis Mutsnek -Was really looking forward to this,not world beaters but both are entertaining.I think Murad has some good potential but some work to do while Denis is kinda sloppy in a lot of aspects,yet tricky,makes it work and has some really solid wins for this level.Fun little back and forth fight and sweet flying triangle for Murad!
Magomed Khamzaev def Taichi Nakajima Unanimous Dec -I only watched the controversial "low blow" where he clearly landed a clean shot.The ref was directly behind them so he couldn't see.I find it odd that people are reporting he was holding his groin after the shot when he was clearly holding his guy/liver and this should have been a huge red flag to the ref.I think he only started to play it off as a groin shot after the ref didn't do anything or say anything about him holding his liver,then the acting started.
I don't think he initially tried to play it off as a ballshot but was quickly given that option after the ref didn't say anything about him clearly holding his ribs and acting like it was a for sure groin shot.****** thing for Magomed to do...I guess,but he went down holding his stomach imo and the ref should have noticed this.Then of course was given plenty of time to recover.Of course I don't know if the ref asked him if it was a low blow.No one really to blame 100%,ref was out of the way,when they acted like it was a low blow,Magomed was like huh..um ok,and with such a huge thing on the line I can't blame him,although I think a majority of fighters at the high level would have said it was indeed a clean shot.Oh well,hopefully it gets changed,if it isn't already.
watch later
Magomed Ginazov def A. Pletenko Unanimous Dec -
Filip Macek def Khamid Sultanbiev Sub, 3:12 R3 -
Alim Cherkesov def Abkerim Yunusov KO/TKO, 2:05 R1 -
