Top FC 1 Discussion

So I recently found the poster for the Top FC 1 event posted on Korean Top Teams facebook page (they are running the event). I used the poster + mfight.co.kr as the sources. mfight is pretty much the Korean MMA website from what I've seen (linked at the prelims translation).


So from this poster the bouts are:
Main Card
Middleweight: Dongi "The Ox" Yang vs Jae Young Kim
Lightweight     Tae Hyun Bang  (aka Seung Hwan Bang ) vs Ju Dong Hwang
Lightweight     Jong Man Kim vs Seung Hwa Han
Welterweight  Han Seul Kim  vs Jun Young Joon
Light HW        Doo Hwan Kim  vs Hae Joon Yang

Prelims (Korean source and Translated)
Lightweight: Bum Chan Kang vs Jung Soo Kim (facebook page)
Featherweight Yong Nam Goo vs Jae Ung Kim (can't find anything on him)

The judge for the bouts will be John McCarthy.

For Min Goo (or Gu) Ee's name it is a weird translation that is translated from 이민구 which would translate literally to I (letter i) Min Goo (westernized to Min Goo I), but sounds like Min Goo Ee. So for the most part it's kind of weird put up. Same situation with I Soo Chul (westernized to Soo Chul I)

Lot of inconsistency regarding how these Korean names are translated on Sherdog, the UG, etc.

Locks in a few minutes, not sure when exactly the fights start (looks like midnight Pacific time, 3am Eastern), but looking at a few translations, the card will be at http://en.channel.pandora.tv/channel/?ch_userid=topfc .  Just a heads up in case any or all of it is going to be live there instead of added a few days after the event.

I can't wait for these half perfects to kick in...

On Monday they will!  At least, hopefully they will if I programmed the thing to work properly.

So KOTC right now will be the first event that uses them ? I hope it fills up with fights , I just might have to pick it.
