Matt Mitrione has been supended following his comments about Fallon Fox on 'The MMA Hour'.

Heres what he said.

He began with a story mentioning that he watched the classic film “The Silence of the Lambs” last week, and likened Fox to the film’s antagonist, serial killer Jame Gumb, who went by the nickname “Buffalo Bill.”

“Maybe instead of being ‘the Queen of Swords,’ Fallon Fox should consider being “The King of the Buffalos,” he said.

Repeatedly referring to Fox as “he” and “him,” Mitrione said after viewing Fox’s fight videos, he hadn’t “seen a man beat a woman like that since Chris Brown beat Rihanna. That is exceptional how he just beats innocent, unknowing women like that. Incredible.”

After telling another joke, host Ariel Helwani asked Mitrione, “Why do you hate Fallon Fox so much, and why do you keep calling she a ‘he’?”

“Because she’s not a he. He’s a he,” he said. “He’s chromosomally a man. He had a gender change, not a sex change. He’s still a man. He was a man for 31 years. Thirty-one years. That’s a couple years younger than I am. He’s a man. Six years of taking performance de-hancing drugs, you think is going to change all that? That’s ridiculous.

“That is a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak,” he continued. “And I mean that. Because you lied on your license to beat up women. That’s disgusting. You should be embarrassed yourself. And the fact that Florida licensed him because California licensed him or whoever the hell did it, it’s an embarrassment to us as fighters, as a sport, and we all should protest that. The woman that’s fighting him, props to you. I hope you beat his ass, and I hope he gets blackballed and never fights again, because that’s disgusting and I’m appalled by that.”

Joe Rogan said the exact same thing a month ago.  How long has he been suspended for? 

Shouldnt have been suspended for this, plenty of guys have said worse without being suspended

Good for Matt , I understand why they suspended him , they don't want to look like they are anti tranny and get all kinds of groups coming after thier sponsors . But someone needed to speak the truth , good for Matt.

Matt Mitrione is 100% right. Good for him. **** this PC ********.

It is stupid. White speaks his mind on a regular basis, often using words that are inflammatory. Dangerous precedent to set here. 

definitely agree with @blackwork...Dana called a reporter/journalist a ******, and how long was he out of work?

He should have just toned it down a little and would have still been able to make his point.

I don't think Fox should be fighting women either.

thats exactly why they're doing this, when he did that dana got a bunch of **** for and he's trying to do anything he can show that he wont tolerate it

The UFC's ultra PC response made me want to vomit. Mitrione certainly could have expressed himself with a lot more tact, but at its core he has a point. The guy decides to change his gender and beat women without disclosing the fact that she used to be a man. That's sick, and mildly sociopathic.

I thought that this was ******* America. Land of the free, home of brave, and freedom of ******* speech. PC ******** is just that, ********. Matt Mittrione has every right to say whatever he wants to say, and feel however he wants to feel. The KKK, right wing X-tian groups, and all these left wing special interest ******** groups can have their stupid rallies, marches, and demonstrations, say whatever they want to say, but that's all fine and dandy. They can still go to work, make money, continue spreading their breed of hate and ********, but let an athlete express how he feels about a certain issue that may be considered "taboo" or controversial, and it's the end of the ******* world. That is such ********. No matt which way you look at it. I give all the congrats and kudos to Matt Mittrione for standing up and saying what he believes, and it's ******** that he got suspended for simply speaking his mind on a subject that I think he's right to speak that way about. I support Mittrione 100%, I think it's ******** that a person born a man, simply because they have a sex-change can or should be allowed to compete in any sport with women as a woman.

Yes!  The fact that he hid it is the core problem here. be a woman if you want and fight other women if they agree to it knowing youre a man but dont hide .

What pisses me off is Shannon Knapp said she knows of more that are out there , and considering everyone thinks Fox is the first , these other "men" must be fighting without their opponents knowing.

Mitrione cant speak the truth, but the face of MMA and the UFC Dana White can call Loretta Hunt a '******* moron' and a 'dumb *****'. Mitrione speaks the truth.

All you guys saying Mitrione "spoke the truth" are wrong.  He didn't.  He made some good points and then he went completely overboard and probably insulted a lot of people. It was stupid, he ****** up and there are consequences.

I agree that Mitrione could have worded it differently. He did insult some people that didn't need to be brought up on an already controversial subject.

But I have to ask, if I told you I was going to have a procedure and start competing in Women's MMA after being a male for 30+ years, you wouldn't have an issue with that?
