bellator has more money
and they treat fighters better(including eddie,eddie doesnt know how contracts work)

And Bellator doesn't have more money. Viacom has more money but Bellator doesn't pay close to what the UFC pays and that's even without going into the sponsorship deals UFC fighters get.

Because other organizations do not pay nearly as much for a fighter, not just purse but sponsorship money.
I know it sounds really cut throat but this is the UFC's culture. When you fight it's do or die, there's no mercy. In the UFC you have to win and win in convincing fashion. We already know all that. That's why they have the bonus systems in place and that's why they give main card spots to exciting fighters. They make the best possible fights the fans want to see and that will maximize the money they make on them. The casual fan doesn't have the in-depth knowledge of rankings and all the intricacies of the sport. They just want to see action. I happen to find it sucks, but I also understand UFC's point of view. A fighting organization would never be profitable if it set up the best possible fight combinations based on a computer generated ranking system.

Hieron: ouch, that hurts. Had a tough go at it, but it is what it is.
Sass: He could be back someday soon, he just needs to evolve his game some. I would expect him to come back eventually.
Mills: Eh, whatevs. I know he got thrown to the wolves with MacDonald, but losing to Matt Riddle is a good enough reason to get cut.
Volkmann: Boring fighter, but was efficient at what he did.
Fitch: Like Volkmann, not the most exciting fighter ever, but he was fantastic at what he did. This is the one cut I call BS on, but I understand why too.
Here's the deal, the UFC, while definitely a sports company, has always been about the guys who go out there and put on exciting shows. MMA, like it or not, is a form of entertainment, at least in the UFC's eyes. The UFC has always given more chances to guys who lose, but lose excitingly over guys who win a lot more, but are boring to watch. That's clear in this case as well.
Also, keep in mind that if the UFC is going to cut about 100 fighters, guys like Leonard Garcia, Nam Phan, and Cody McKenzie could still be on their way out the door.
What I'm also looking at is a lot of Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight fighters getting cut, divisions that all need to be trimmed to make up for the new divisions the UFC has added (Flyweight and now Women's Bantamweight, plus the eventual incoming Strawweight division).
I'm surprised by some of the cuts, but I see why they did it.
