Surprised at some of names but not number of guys released by UFC. Was told they need to trim about 100 guys right now.
Plan is for 33 cards this year. You have 24 guys on a card. That's 792 spots. Three fights/year per fighter is 264 roster slots.

Volkmann gives up if he can't get the takedown , Sass gives up if he cant get the triangle. so they are bad cuts but understandable . But Fitch had to do something to piss someone off to get cut.

Etim looked INCREDIBLY BAD against Forte and really has only looked good for 17 seconds in the last 3 years, that being said he's still very talented and deserved one more fight.
Sass has been slightly exposed as of late against 2 very strong grapplers but throwing a guy up against wrestlers basically forcing him to try his world famous triangle in orderbuild a Rousey-esque story is completely unfair.
Overall I think they were more "**** you, we don't like the way you're fighting" cuts rather than statistical performance cuts. Pretty cold hearted.
