FROM FIGHT PROMOTION LEGEND FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP (WWW.LEGENDFC.COM):

A native of China’s Inner Mongolia province, Wu’s competitive spirit drove him to take up wrestling at a young age. It was a sport at which he excelled, and by the time he was a teenager, he had already won numerous local and regional wrestling tournaments. At the age of 18, Wu moved to Beijing, where he combined training in traditional martial arts forms such as Dacheng Fist and Shuaijiao (traditional Chinese wrestling) with disciplines such as Brazilian Jiujitsu and Sanda. He made his professional MMA debut at the age of 20 and quickly established a reputation for his submission skills – a talent he shares with his teammate and training partner Ji Xian. With his new focus on international competition, Wu has already set his sights on the Legend Lightweight Title and is willing to fight whoever he needs to for a shot at it.
