Ellenberger vs. Zeugin Wiki
Ellenberger and Zeugin took to the cage for a featured lightweight tilt before the co-main event.
Both fighters were tentative at the start until Ellenberger landed a nice trip takedown against the cage. Zeugin struggled back to his feet but Ellenberger dumped him right back down, landing in side control. Ellenberger latched onto a tight D'Arce choke but Zeugin fought it off, forcing Ellenberger to spin to the back, where he landed a big knee to the ribs before Zeugin scrambled back to his feet.
After a lengthy feeling-out period, Ellenberger got a huge slam but was caught in a Guillotine Choke. Ellenberger defended the choke by propping his feet up on the fence, riding out the position and eventually passing to side control after escaping the hold. Zeugin scrambled back to his feet only to be slammed back down by Ellenberger and hit with some shots to the temple.
After another tentative start, Ellenberger got another easy takedown and continued his assault, this time increasing the tempo in search of a finish. Ellenberger cut Zeugin badly with an elbow then transitioned to the back, flattened Zeugin out, and finished him off with a choke. Dominant finish for Ellenberger.
The official end came 1:16 into the third round, giving Ellenberger the submission victory.
