 yea there's clearly some redflag on Neves ( level of compétition, layoff ) what you think the odds will be around for this fight? 1.62 Rutkowski / 2.3 Neves?  If neves reach +200 its tempting imo

I thought tapology was the last place to look at a record. What difference Neves does it make 36-1 50-1 99-1 if these are all easy fights for him?
If you fight the same opponents as Neves, then any fighter with a pulse will achieve the same record
Once when he fought with a real fighter, he was exposed

Fake fight? Tf you talking about?! He's younger, taller +he got a good reach advantage.. Rutkowski is almost 36year old, lost his last fight. Do what you want buddy, there's clearly value on Neves

I didn’t write to you, buddy. And I certainly didn’t ask what I should do.
If you want to turn this question into a personal argument, then the fact that Rutkosky lost in his last close fight to a guy a billion times more talented than Neves doesn’t mean much.
And where is Rutkovsky almost 36? He literally turned 35 just 2 months ago

Serious question, every now and then I find a fighter with a record like Neves who has a super stacked record but I've never heard of them. Usually they fought a lot of overmatched competition, were given a soft landing in a major promotion (for some reason) after already having a great record, then leaving/being cut after one loss. If someone got signed to Bellator today with a 28-0 record, they would be given a tougher test than a 0.500 fighter and get fast tracked for a title shot. And if they lost one, I would expect them to try again.
Any explanation for this?
Are they journeymen that preserve great records to keep getting regional fights and cash checks? If that's the case I respect it, that's what their career is about. Just curious because it's so bizarre, I ran across a couple fighters like that recently.

Well, I watched his loss in Bellator and Jimmy Smith answered at least part of the question. Basically Bellator did their homework and knew he was only a 19 year old who hadn't fought anyone notable yet, so he got slow played. That part makes sense from Bellator's point of view.

Still idk why he was immediately released, he looked alright even in his one Bellator loss. He didn't look like a 30-0 fighter lol, but not bad.
