Crod vs. Dulgarian

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 525 Points   |   Tied for 206th

What a complicated fight Crod vs. Dulgarian, I really think Dulgarian is an excellent fighter, I must have been one of the few to choose him on his debut, but I didn't use tapology at that time. My analysis on Crod is that he will be one of those guys who has never been finished, like Pedro Munhoz or Chito Vera, which could complicate Dulgarian in this fight as we don't know what his cardio is like if Crod takes this fight to a decision. But at the same time, this is literally the guy who can finish him, Crod is rising, I don't think he will perform badly, but Dulgarian is the strongest, most aggressive and lethal athlete, his wrestler is excellent, and with the Crod bad tdd, he will definitely put Crod down, but what if Crod survives? Will Dulgarian continue his relentless pace? I think so because this guy is always training. At the same time, it's crazy to see how Crod, an experienced and completely more tested athlete, manages to be a slight underdog in this fight...

Tai said he tore his meniscus 1 month ago... damn. Gonna have to see how much that affects him during the fight. Seems like a very quick turnaround.

The bookies in Vegas have tried their best to get rid of me, tried to ban me if I even sneeze, I can't blame them, they had to... it's business. I would have done the same in their place.

But I am like a ****roach. I cannot be killed by books.

facts, I definitely expect ceerod not to accept the bottom, creating scrambles. I could see ceerod getting a submission in round 2 or 3 could be some value on it too. I’m not worried about him going up weight either as he versed another good wrestler in his debut on short notice and looked great, even though he lost.

Idk if I'm taking CeeRod to win, but man, people are really writing him off here. Dulgarian will not finish him, and that's a red flag for a guy with only first round finishes. Experience, striking, scrambling, durability and dynamism all in favor of Christian.

Let me start by saving you all money in the first fight.

Dulgarian - a few months ago everyone on here was calling him a fraud and a can crusher. Now he is the best prospect ever.

He is actually good. Very good. Excellent wrestling. But is he better than CRod? Not likely.

CRod is top 10 potential. Better cardio, better BJJ, better striking. He is gonna scramble and make Dulgy work. Do you really think Dulgy is gonna finish CRod in 1 round? Better pray that happens if you have money on it. The bookies are very happy with your Dulgarian bets

The line movement has almost all been towards Dulgarian. Not that it means anything, but I've seen a lot of bettors going hard on Dulgarian.

Gotcha I don't bother with the betting lines as they seem to change day to and firm to firm.
I have gone looked at a 2to1 favorite, crunched data then on fight day that guy is the "obvious" underdog.
Mostly just calling him a funny name cuz hes a weight bully and cheater no agress meant at you.

Yeah, I do think people are betting so hard against him because they're mad at him missing weight. The whole "weight bully" **** is a hilarious reach.

Based on my own reads, I have CeeRod as a moderate favorite. But I also think there are some intangibles for him in this fight, re: him being able to deal with a good wrestler who will most likely have some kind of physical advantage.

Feel like this fight is guaranteed to go the distance, but I think if there was a finish, you'd have to imagine CeeRod is the one who would find it. I would be shocked if either man won early. I'd be very shocked if Dulgarian finished CeeRod.

He tore it well over a month ago. It's been 8 weeks since he had surgery, which is within the recovery time frame for a mild (typically a "posterior horn") meniscus tear. It all depends on where the tear is in the meniscus. Tai being relatively young and an athlete means he's also going to heal faster than say, someone who's +50 years old with the same injury.

That injury is the entire reason this fight was pushed back and got stuck in the APEX to begin with. I'd like to imagine the UFC did their due diligence here and wouldn't let him fight unless he was good to go. Otherwise I don't see why they wouldn't just wait a little longer and have him in front of a crowd.

Saying C Rod is not a weight bully is a hilarious statement. If someone signs a contract to fight at a certain weight and shows up above that weight multiple times in a row by several pounds *** are they ?

It's not like he sucked himself dry every time trying his hardest to make weight. He always stops cutting super soon and saves himself for the fight because he knows odds are he will not make the weight and he gotta be fresh to smash some small guys.

i like CeeRod and i've been going back and forth on this but he got the wrong mentality coming in here against a guy who will likely be the strongest wrestler he's ever faced -- up a weight no less.  He said this fight is more personal for him,, why ?  Because things didn't go the way you wanted last year??  For who, for what?  It makes no sense.  Also, Dulgarian's cardio should hold up just fine..  Guy trains at altitude.  Be smart, brothers 😎🥊

Training at altitude doesn’t always mean your cardio is perfect. Jacoby, smith, and Hernandez all train at the same gym as dulgarain & all three have gassed out multiple times. Maybe dulgarian is as good as he’s hyped to be but he’s so explosive with every action I find it really hard to believe he can keep that pace for 15 minutes. And that’s assuming he takes ceerod down and holds him there, we have literally 0 footage of Dulgarian facing any resistance whatsoever.

I can understand betting the Dulgarian opener and maybe even the -150 price tag, but now the dude is almost -200. Idk what Dulgarian has done to be -200 over a guy who has legit top 15 potential AND we know has very good cardio & has been tested more than once
